Back in 2002 suncoast released a really sharp boatlegs of the entires series. but it was seperate DVD 6 episodes for 6-10 bucks an episode. I bought the secret wars, caused it looked legit and the screen selection wasjust like the Batman Beyond DVDs DC was releasing.

But no.its all bootleg and illegal downloads.

There is a thread somewhere in this forum, where it is explained that the DVD releases for Spider-Man TAS and X-Men TAS are pretty much improbable, purely for legal reasons.

What I remember someone posted here was that (correct me if I'm wrong):

Both shows were produced by SABAN, aired on FOX Kids, and their rights were owned by FOX (the company). SABAN broke years later, and it was absorbed by Disney. FOX Kids turned into Jetix at some point, and it was (as well) owned by Disney. The problem with all this, is that, even though Disney owns both the producing company and the airing channel of both shows, FOX (the company) still owns the rights for both shows, which makes Disney unable to even AIR any of the shows, because of the license.

Disney suited FOX (they are still going at it in the court) because of all this, and only if Disney wins, they're gonna be able to release the DVD's, although I would prefer that they just released all the shows in one set, as they wouldn't feature anything else. But that's just me.

thanks I never read that before and I've never seen those shows on sale on DVD. What a shame I saw basically every episode of Spider-man but the last 3 episodes. Is there any hope of it falling thru in the future?

I think it will happen... eventually. Because someday they are gonna have to drop the fight, and let us have the DVD's we're asking them for!!!

If that's true will we be able to have Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk (1996) on DVD when their movies come out?

Also do you think this will get settled by the time Spider-Man 3 comes out?

But now that Disney are finally getting off their butts and releasing stuff, maybe they'll try and settle faster.

But isn't it FOX who doesn't want to give Disney the rights?... And how come that the complete series of Fantastic Four TAS WAS released after the movie, and that the Iron Man TAS will probably be released as well after the movie opens, and yet Spiderman and X-Men TAS haven't been released?!?!...

No it's between Disney and a part of Marvel. They FF was owned fully by one of them, Spiderman and X-men aren't.

Oh, c'mon! If they're not gonna release season sets or series sets, at least show it on TV again! I've seen every episode but the final two  in season two (the lost episodes)! How hard can this "dispute" be???? Here's the solution: Split it 50-50! I mean, c'mon, box sets would make millions of dollars for this show! And if I had a choice between getting a million dollars or disappointing my fans, I think I'd choose the first one.... So, what's the problem???????
