    • TRIVIA (2)

      • When Tombstone and the MegaSlayer are effecting the exchange, one of Tombstone's men fires a bazooka at the MegaSlayer, leaving a gaping hole in the left side of its chest. It disappears shortly after Smythe rerouted the reserve power cells, then reappears when Doctor Connors cuts off the arm with the laser.

      • When Spider-Man is on the wall with the cords keeping him in place; it shows him getting free. But when the cords come back on him they make an "X" shape over his chest. And it shows the "X" then the camera changes angles and the "X" is gone, then it comes back again.

    • QUOTES (20)

      • Spider-Man: (As he watches a damaged Mega-Slayer fall apart) Huh, they just don't make Mega-Slayers like they use to.

      • Spider-Man: (While he's restrained to the wall) The Mega-Slayer, nice distraction. I wish I could take advantage of it.

      • Spider-Man: Are you alright?
Alisa: I'm fine, but you've got a problem. (Knocks out Spider-Man)

      • Tombstone: About time I broke Kingpin's new toy. (Fires a bazooka at the Mega-Slayer)

      • Smythe: (As he's about to finish off Spider-Man) Goodnight sweet prince and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

      • Spider-Man: (After tossing a spider tracer on the Mega-Slayer as it flies away) Run away as fast as you want Smythe, I'm still going to be right on your big, fat, mechanical tail.

      • Smythe: You were supposed to bring Dr. Connors. Where is he?
Spider-Man: You know everything smart guy. Didn't you know he was kidnapped?

      • Silvermane: (After finding out that his daughter's been kidnapped by Hammerhead) The Kingpin, he's behind this.
Tombstone: Let me go size him up for one of my coffins.
Silvermane: No! If Kingpin touches a hair on Alisa's head, he'll suffer pain worse than anything I am feeling.

      • Dr. Connors: It's incredible, you've made an exact duplicate of the top of the Toltec pyramid.
Tombstone: Yeah, right here in the big apple.

      • Alisa: My father won't be pleased when he finds out what you've done.
Kingpin: Good, now Silvermane will know what it feels like to have the life of a loved one hanging in the balance.

      • Spider-Man: What the heck is going on? First Doc Connors is kidnapped, now Alisa Silver. Who's next, Aunt May? (Sees himself covered in cement) I better get home and change into my spare costume before I turn into Tombstone junior.

      • Hammerhead: (As he covers Spider-Man in cement) From Spider-Man to speed bump, in ten seconds.

      • Spider-Man: (To Hammerhead, as he tries to kidnap Alisa) Yo, chrome dome, the lady didn't finish her latte.

      • Spider-Man: (About Tombstone) For a walking Mt. Rushmore, he's fast.

      • Spider-Man: (As Spider-Man turns on the fan, ridding the lab of the toxic gases) Amazing how a little fresh air can make a guy feel so much stronger. (Lifts large consol off of himself)

      • Tombstone: (On the phone with Alisa) It's me, Tombstone, I got Connors.
Alisa: Perfect, nobody suspects I was involved?
Tombstone: Your alibi is airtight. Kick back and enjoy your date.
Alisa: (To herself as she hangs up) I will, if he ever shows up.

      • Tombstone: (Sees Dr. Connors getting away) Uh oh, almost forgot what I came for. Sorry I can't finish this, but here's a going away present. (Slams a computer console on Spider-Man)

      • Spider-man: (as he's covered in cement) Great! Now I'm going to be turned into a life-size Spidey statue. minus the life!

      • Spider-Man: (About the Mega-Slayer) Wonder how much Smythe has to pay to park that thing in the city?

      • Spider-Man: That's Silvermaine? He's the old man I rescued from Doc Ock. If I'd known who he was, I'd have handed him over with a ribbon and bow attached!

    • NOTES (0)

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • Smythe: Goodnight sweet prince and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.
Smythe is using a line from the play Hamlet Act 5 scene 2.

      • Spider-Man: Why can't I be meeting Meg Ryan up here... or at least Fay Wray?
Spidey's comment about people he'd rather be meeting atop the Empire State Building refers to Tom Hanks' and Meg Ryan's meeting at the end of Sleepless In Seattle, as well as the heroine of the movie King Kong.
