After listening to Michael's tape recorder, Spider-Man apparently leaves it on the roof even bough it contains secret information on both Michael Morbius and Peter Parker. Spider-Man is never shown picking the recorder up before web-slinging away.
Spider-Man: (Seeing robbers run out of a pawn shop as the alarm rings) It's possible that this is some kind of intercity midnight ski team, but I don't think so.
Spider-Man: (Breaking into the robbers car) Party's over for you crash dummies.
Robber: (Noticing that Spider-Man is in pain) What's the matter, you sick? (Aims laser gun at him) Maybe you need to get your shots.
Spider-Man: (To himself) I can't believe it. After all the super villains I fought, in the end I'm going to be ventilated by a bunch of street hoods?
Spider-Man: (As the cops chase the robbers away from Spider-Man) Talk about dumb luck. Who says cops are never around when you need them?
Morbius: Sleep well Debra. Sleep the sleep of the dearly departed.
Peter: (Hears a smash, but sees that it was a lab rat knocking over its food canister) So, that was you mickey. Your table manners are atrocious.
Peter: (Feels a sharp pain and decides to leave the lab) That's all for tonight folks.
Felicia: But why go to all the trouble to set this up?
Morbius: It was no trouble. I borrowed-
Felicia: You mean pilfered.
Morbius: Borrowed, the equipment from Doctor Connors' lab.
Felicia: I didn't realize winning that research job was so important to you.
Morbius: You are wealthy, you do not know the poverty and suffering I have seen. My village was a beautiful place, before the appearance of a mysterious virus. Now it is being destroyed. It takes no one of wealth, no one of privilege to rescue it. I promised my countrymen that I would learn in America and be a success. Then, one day I would return with a cure. I cannot fail them.
Morbius: Relax my princess, I would never let anything harm you.
Felicia: You I believe, Michael, (Points to the cage of vampire bats) it's them I don't trust.
Peter: (To himself as he notices Mary Jane) Mary Jane, I feel like a heel for not having called her all week. But what could I say? Hi, let's have a relationship. By the way, I'm turning into a mutant. Next time you see me I might look like your last nightmare.
Mary Jane: (About Peter) I think he's been avoiding me, Liz.
Liz: If a man avoids a major babe like you, it could only mean one thing.
Mary Jane: What?
Liz: He isn't human anymore.
Mary Jane: Yeah right.
Spider-Man: (To Bruce the Gargoyle) Hey Bruce, what do you think? It's not wrong for me to want to keep my powers, is it? I knew you'd agree.
Morbius: Personal science log, the bite from the bat somehow made me feel stronger. I feel energy surging through me. I can hear every heartbeat around me and I can defy gravity. Incredible. (Notices his mutated face) No! My face, skin translucent, nasal structure distorted. I have got to reverse this. There is something else; I feel a hunger.
Spider-Man: (To Bruce the Gargoyle) Dr. Crawford tries to help me, and I run away, just like I run away from Mary Jane. Do we sense a pattern here? Bruce, I finally figured out what I'm mutating into, a real jerk.
Morbius: (To his voice recorder) Now I know what this hunger is. Like the vampire bat to his genes, I have inherited. I hunger for plasma. I took it through my hands. I could feel it coursing through his skin, right into my fingers. And as repulsive as it was, I must have more.
Spider-Man: (After being thrown by Morbius) You're strong. (Kicks Morbius down to the ground) Good thing you don't have my spider agility.
Spider-Man: (After listening to Morbius' recordings) Michael Morbius, messing with a stolen sample of my blood? I never should have left it at ESU. Now Morbius is in the same Neogenic Nightmare I'm in. I can't save myself; at least I can try to save him. Why is it that everything I touch, everything that touches me, is poisoned?
Morbius: I'll feed on you.
Spider-Man: You want to feed on me? You don't know where I've been.
Spider-Man: (About Morbius) He's not as strong as before. Maybe he's getting weak from lack of plasma. I hope that'll even the odds. I need all the help I can get.
Dr. Crawford: Do you ever use a door?
Spider-Man: Uh-uh. Don't believe in 'em.
In the comics, Morbius originally debuted in AmazingSpider-Man #101-102 whilst Spidey grew four extra arms in Amazing Spider-Man #100-102
Morbius: You were expecting, maybe, Bela Lugosi?
Bela Lugosi starred in the original 1931 Dracula movie.
Spiderman: I feel like I'm getting a massage from Wolverine.
Wolverine is one of the X-men. He can regenerate damage and has with adamantium claws.
