Captain America: I'm just glad we got our cat back.
Black Cat: Here I am fighting with one of the greatest heroes of all time.
Spiderman: Yeah, cap is quite a......
Black Cat: I wasn't talking about Cap, spider.
Spider-Man: Me and my big mouth, why didn't you just set them up on a date Spidey?
Black Cat: You, Spider. You're quite a leader. I wouldn't miss sharing this action with you for all the world. Thanks.
Allistair Smythe: Octavius and Red Skull would spend an eternity fighting for this planet. I simply wish to get back to my father, and you are the only ones who can get me home.
Iron Man: Science is saving my life once again. If it wasn't for the protection this suit gives me, my heart would've stopped beating years ago.
Black Cat: You think you're the only important one. I left two young heroes back on Earth who need me, too. Do you think it was fair to snatch me away just to hold your hand? Spider, won't you ever grow up?
Before the other 7 X-Men were pulled from the story, there was to have been a prior episode which would have Spider-Man and The X-Men infiltrating the base of Mr. Sinister.
The episode would have Spider-Man coming across a symbiote which he would temporarily wear (as a reference to Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #8). It would end with a discussion between Madame Web and The Beyonder, setting up for The Gauntlet Of The Red Skull.
Black Cat: Anything you can do, I can do as well... or better.
"Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better" is one of the best known songs from the musical "Annie Get Your Gun" which originally starred Ethel Merman and was revived in 1999 with Bernadette Peters in the lead role. The story revolves around Annie Oakley, an illiterate hillbilly with a knack for shooting guns. Persuaded to join Buffalo Bill's travelling Wild West Show, she soon falls hopelessly in love with Frank Butler, the show's featured shooting ace. But when Annie eclipses Frank as the show's main attraction, she realizes she'll have to make some hard choices if she wants to win the man she loves.
