David Hayter, who supplies the voice for Steve Rogers/Captain America, is now a writer for feature films. Two films he worked on were based on other Marvel Comics characters -- he wrote the screenplay for X-Men (2000) and supplied an unused story for the Hulk (2003). David Hayter, who provides the voice for Captain America, is probably best known for providing the voice of Solid Snake, in the Metal Gear video games.
The original Whizzer (Robert Frank) first appeared in 1941 (USA Comics #1). He, Miss America, and Captain America were founding members of the All-Winners Squad in 1946. The second Whizzer (Stanley Stewart) was a member of the Squadron Supreme.
Earl Boen begins performing the role of the Red Skull, replacing David Warner, who performed the character's single line in his previous flashback appearance in "The Cat."
