EDIT
When Aunt May is slightly injured by one of the Hobgoblin's pumpkin bombs during the kidnapping of Harry, Spider-Man enters the fray with a vengeance. • Spidey's fight with the Hobgoblin continues.

    9.0
Continuing directly from where the last episode left of, the fight between Spidey and the Hobgoblin is shown. The animation is once again spectacular, and that really helps to make this episode a memorable one.

One thing which needs to be mentioned about this episode has to be the high number of sub plots, and how well all of them tied in with each other. Not only that, but in the end, everything was solved, and the ending was a good one.

Having the characters interact with each other was a nice move, and it all comes down to seeing what choices each character has made. And that is a good thing, as it helped develop all the characters featured in this episode and make them more likeable (well maybe not all of them), and it showed how motivated each one of them is.

The fight between Spidey and the Hobgoblin was awesome, even if there was almost no fighting involved at all. Thanks to the superb animation and the story behind everything, this episode became a good conclusion to the two part first Hobgoblin adventure. Unfortunately, all of his next appearances on the show, as good as they are, will not match this one. The Hobgoblin was definitely one of the coolest looking villains Spidey ever had to face.

A nice touch was to also mention and actually develop the father-son relationship between Norman Osborn and Harry Osborn. Another little thing which will lead to the "birth" of the famous Green Goblin, later during the series.

Overall a nice and enjoyable episode, which will entertain you and keep you on the edge of your seat.moreless
