Eddie Brock: (weakened) Its too late, the synoptic is being released. (thousands of little symbiotes shoot into the air)
THE END!!!
The Next Spider-Man show after this one was Spider-Man: The New Animated Series (2003). Instead of continuing the plot from SMU, this new series was a continuation of the Spider-Man live action movie.
There was going to be a part two, in season two if the series hadn't been canceled.
Like this series, Avengers (1999) ended after 1 season, 13 episodes with episodes in production.
The first Spider-Man series to end on a cliffhanger.
This Spider-Man series and Spider-Man (2003) both ended with one season, and 13 episodes each.
According to the voice of Tyger, he would have been in big trouble for helping Spider-Man, if there had been a season two.
This series ties with Spider-Man (2003), for being the shortest Spider-Man series to date.
This series ends without ever showing the viewers the Counter-Earth versions of Doc Ock, The Shocker, Mysterio and more.
The Chameleon, as well as Wolverine appeared in the comic Spider-Man Unlimited #5 (1999 Series).
Unlike the previous Spider-Man series, every episode was aired in production order. (Although, there weren't nearly as many.)
In this episode, Cassidy Kletus(Carnage) and Eddie Brock(Venom) make an appearance without their symbiote, after they are separated from it by the High Evolutionary, who capture them.
In this episode, the Synoptic, the project Venom and Carnage have been working on since the first episode, is released.
A bit of closure from the book Spider-Man Confidential: "We did wrap things up. We had written half of the next season and had outlined all of it. By the second or third episode of the second season, the High Evolutionary would have been toppled, humans would be given full citizen status alongside the Beastials and instead of having to lead a revolution. Spidey was going to go back to what he does best: fighting crime alone. In the course of fighting crime, he was going to find another rocket and use it to go back to Earth and Mary-Jane." -Veteran writer Larry Brody
This episode ends on a cliffhanger that remains unresolved.
