  • Better than last year, but not perfect

    7.0
The Good: Zachary (Chuck) did a decent job at hosting, while he may have appeared nervous at times he definitely knows the industry. The setting was very cool with a nice looking set, cool illuminated tables and a cool looking Portal for the opening. The music was superb with the Black Keys performing "Lonely Boy" and Deadmou5 being the show's DJ. A new Game Hall of Fame award was given to Miyamoto for the Legend of Zelda and the premier of the Transformers Fall of Cybertron trailer was epic!

The Bad: Every Felicia Day segment was lame, not funny and hard to watch. Hardly any awards were given out during the program. They spent 5-10 minutes on a segment about how bad last year's show was, when this year they were barely treading water.

The Ugly: The 3D characters on stage that only the audience really sees looks a lot worse than they must think it does.

Overall: Still a fun show overall and a good dose of new video games while we wait for E3 in June.moreless
