This episode was only a set-up to part two of the Goodbye episodes, so it's not really expected to be one of the better, but it's a fairly strong episode anyway. A reporter discovers that the mayor and most of his staff are unknowingly hanging out and doing favors for a known mobster, so Mike (who is the only innocent one on the staff) must fall on the sword and protect the careers of everyone else by taking the blame for everything. As usual, all of the cast does a fine job, and the writers added a nice touch by bringing in Michael Gross (who was Michael J. Fox's former co-star on Family Ties) as Mike's therapist.moreless
