    • QUOTES (2)

      • Paul: This could be the very headband John McEnroe wore when he won the '79 US Open!
Nikki: Or it could be just some random headband.
Paul: Yeah, like, what are the odds of that?!

      • Mike (mimicking Caitlin): 'You should eat sushi off the small of my back, Mike.'
        Carter: She never said that.
        Mike: It was implied...

    • NOTES (0)

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • The title alludes to a 1981 film entitled My Dinner with Andre.

      • Paul/James: You cannot be serious...

Paul and James reenact John McEnroe's (in)famous outburst from his 1981 Wimbledon match against Tom Gullikson. His serve was ruled out which angered him because he swears he saw chalk dust fly up meaning it was in fact in. When the umpire refused to change his ruling, McEnroe became infuriated and let fly a diatribe including insults like "incompetent fool" and "pits of the world", as well as his now famous catchphrase, "you cannot be serious!"
