The discovery of Sophia's body hanging from a meat hook suggests her death is linked to her sister's. Benoit informs Clement he never met Sophia but a receipt found in her coat indicates otherwise. When Roban admits he has lost Elina's diary, his influence on the investigation is limited. However, Clement is determined to find out the truth.
Karlsson defends Ghislaine Androus and Leroy resolves to create as much media publicity as possible, despite Karlsson's reticence. As the pressure of the trial builds, Androus seeks solace in alcohol. Roban reassures her the case will be dismissed, but things do not turn out as planned and he is forced to question his decision to bring the case to court.
