Roban informs Berthaud that Bremont will take a lead in the Butcher of Vilette case. When Ronaldo is released from prison with Karlsson by his side, Berthaud, who is still convinced of his guilt, has him followed. However, Berthaud's obsession with Ronaldo's creates conflict with Tintin, and it results in more ammunition for Karlsson.

Roban carries out an investigation into Fortec's finances. When his brother Martin is linked to the company, Roban is livid and confronts him. However, Martin warns Roban that, if his name is linked with the company, he will be forced off the investigation. Meanwhile a witness reappears, and it seems he is prepared to talk.

Karlsson finds herself in deep trouble, thanks to Szabo, when an ex- client of theirs pays her a visit; he demands she gets his brother, who is incarcerated on drug trafficking charges, released from prison in the next twenty four hours, otherwise he will take her life in lieu of the ten thousand Euros he paid her. Suitably worried, she turns to Clement for help. He agrees to intervene but on one condition; Karlsson convinces him that she will never see Szabo again, but she soon betrays his trust.

Nico's is worried that business is poor. He convinces Mila to look after the girl for him, and she happily complies. When Mila discovers Elena is planning to run away, she takes steps to prevent her from leaving.

Gilou comes clean about what happened at the squat. Berthaud helps remove the incriminating evidence in a rather unethical way, and finds herself closer to Bremont as a result.

Roban confides in Isabelle and reveals that Arnaud has been blackmailing him; she defends her son's actions.
