Berthaud struggles to implement new custody laws. As a result, Cetin's arrest is hindered by new police protocol. A new lead emerges in the form of Kulen, a known people trafficker who has links with the Soliman cafe. However, Berthaud believes he is being manipulated to protect Cetin, and reverts to her more 'traditional' methods in an effort to get the information she needs.
Riffault and Tzakri continue to carry out their plan to kidnap Van der Berg.
Clement ingratiates himself further into Jorkal's circle when he is told to represent his nephew, Brandon. However, Jorkal demands that his nephew goes to prison to protect the family honour.
A frustrated Clement questions Karlsson about the Special Squad visit, and he is told some half truths. Catry infers that Clement is responsible for giving the police photos to the terrorist group, and Karlsson is forced to betray Riffault to prevent Clement from discovering what she has done.
Marie Borel's family hold Roban accountable for her death, and they are supported by Garnier in taking Roban to court. Roban is forced to locate the third victim to defend himself. He is also questioned about his lack of professionalism.
Gilou goes off the deep end with the Sarahouise brothers over Nabil's murder, but they continue pressure him into getting their license. His circumstances become more interesting when he learns they are soon to be raided.
Tintin struggles when he returns to work. Berthaud is introduced to Bremont's children but the birthday present she gets his daughter does not prove popular with everybody. The police become aware of Layla but they are oblivious to the power she yields.
