  • TERRIBLE!!!

    2.0
I thought that this episode was terrible. It was nice to see the Flying Dutchman again since he only appears in one episode in every season of "SpongeBob SquarePants". It was pretty cool when SpongeBob and Patrick turned into ghosts but I thought the story for it could have been so much more better and I thought SpongeBob and Patrick were extremely annoying in the beginning of the episode. I only laughed twice in this episode and that's when Patrick said "Everytime I eat, food goes right threw me" then Mr. Krabs and Squidward say "ewwww" and when that customer ran out of the Krusty Krab yelling "mermaids" after seeing SpongeBob and Patrick as ghosts. The makeover for the Flying Dutchman was very weird and it was just ridiculous to watch and how can the Flying Dutchman's beard grow back after when he said that it would take 1000 years for his beard to grow back? The ending was just stupid and it made absolutely no point at alll. Overall, this was just a terrible episode. It was a very tortuous experience in my opinion. 2/10moreless

SpongeBob and Patrick are lying around, bored. So they sneak into Squidward's shed, and find his lawnmower. But then they notice Squidward coming in, so they hide on the tool wall. Of course Squidward sees them, andSpongeBob explains to Squidward that they want to play with "that thingy" over there. Squidward says it's his lawn mower, and then he's about to yell, but he comes up with the thought that the two would get shaved in and get killed. So Squidward pullsthe cord, and SpongeBob and Patrick ride it. But eventually the two get out of control, and they end up in the cemetary. They don't care about this. The Flying Dutchman is trying to pick out a shirt for his date, and finally finds one. But then, the two run over the grave, and dirt gets all over the dutchman's shirt. He comes up, only to get his beard shaved off by the mower. The Dutchman gets mad, so he stops SpongeBob and Patrick and starts yelling at them. Then SpongeBob explains they don't know what it's like to be a ghost. So Dutchy turns them into ghosts. The two fly over to Squidward's, and they try to scare Squidward, but they only get sprayed by his hose. So the bubble fade comes to night, and SpongeBob picks up his key, but it falls through him. He leans on the door, buthe falls through. So SpongeBob goes through the walls and doors to get to his bedroom. When he lays down, he falls through many walls, and eventully ends up underground. The next morning, it reveals that both didn't get enough sleep, as Patrick could see through his eyelids. So SpongeBob goes to the Krusty Krab for work, and goes to the kitchen. He picks up his spatula, but like his house key, it falls through. SpongeBob then breaks it, and its ghost comes out. But when he flips patties, they fall through his spatula. He tries this over and over, but no patty is made. He goes through the door, crying. Patrick has problems, too. He explains that the food goes right through him, and Mr. Krabs and Squidward get grossed out. Then, the customers notice the two, and they run off screaming thinking they were mermaids. So SpongeBob and Patrick become upset, so they go to the cemetary to visit the Dutchman. When they get there, they plead the Dutchman to turn them back to normal, so he does, but does not succeed. The Dutchman says the curse will not wear off until his beard grows back for his date, so SpongeBob and Patrick decide to give him a "makeover". At the end, SpongeBob replaces Dutchy's beard, and the "Several Months Later" card comes. The two are eventully normal, lying around, bored again, but then the Dutchman comes and tells them the date wants to marry him. Then popping out of the horizon of the background, is a giant, grotesque, hideous monster, which is apparently the Dutchman's date and causes the Dutchman to scream and run away. The plot speaks for itself, this episode was not that good.

  • Better than the original halloween special.

I loved this episode There were so many funny gags. I loved when Squidward was picturing them using his lawn mower."Ow, my patty-flipping hand!" I also loved the mermaid running gag. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhh Mermaids!" The best parts were all Patrick related. "My eyelids!", "Everything goes right through me!" "I don't get it." "You can't go on your'e date because your ugly?" He is just so funny in this episode. I loved the makeover sequence, with Patrick breaking the jellyfish hive. I also loved Spongebob being his beard. Flying Dutchman's girlfriend is the Kraken in a bikini! This is a great episode.moreless
  • Another brilliant episode.

Curse of Bikini Bottom: Spongebob and Patrick want to play in Squidward's shed, and they disturb it when Squidward appears, SB and Patrick want to play with his lawnmower, and Squidward lets them do it, because he think they'll get their hands cut off. Spongebob and Patrick use it and accidently goes into the Bikini Bottom Cemetery and the Flying Dutchman's grave was disturbed(I thought he was never put to rest, what gives?). The Flying Dutchman's beard is ruined and decides to turn Spongebob and Patrick into ghosts! Unfortunately, they can't touch things or eat things, but phases through things, and float are the only things they can do. Now they realized that they were turned to ghosts because the Flying Dutchman needs his beard for his date. At the end, after months, Spongebob and Patrick are no longer ghosts, and the Dutchman fears of marrying her. This one is very original.

SpongeBob and Patrick find themselves bored so they decide to play in Squidward's shed. The episode is not even 3 mins in and is hilarious!!! The writer's of this episode really worked hard to make this episode and the work pays off. One extremly funny part is when SpongeBob says "i cut off my krabby flippin' hand!!!" after him and patrick are using Squidwards law-mower in his thought bubble. (Silly Squidward)- which i thought was a great addtion to the episode and over all another classic! This episode is worth watching, buying on itunes, and worth your time. You should watch this episode and you will LOVE IT and if you don't than yer a di*k.moreless
