If SpongeBob and Patrick auditioned together, why didn't they perform together?
In "SpongeBob vs. The Patty Gadget", when SpongeBob and the Gadget sends out Patties, you can see them piling up on the floor. When you see the overview of the floor, they aren't there.
In "SpongeBob vs. The Patty Gadget", when SpongeBob pushes his grill out of the kitchen, you can see a wire coming from it. When you see it next, the wire is gone.
When all of the dancers admitted they cheated, the whale was not seen admitting it. Also, the octopus was never in the dance contest.
When Squidward goes into SpongeBob, his body was just nothing. But in "Mermaid Man And Barnacle Boy," Bikini Bottom attacks him and he had a real body.
In the dance competition, it would be cheating if you had a dance partner assiting you. However, SpongeBob and Patrick were partners and they were accepting in it, even though it was clear they were two separate dance partners. Why did the judges accept them if it was a rule violation?
In "Slimy Dancing," Squidward was wearing his dance outfit throughout, although in the epilogue, he has his normal shirt.
During the epilogue of "Slimy Dancing", when Timmy's mom was dialing 911, you can see she dialed 811, not 911.
In the end of "Money Talks," Mr. Krabs owes SpongeBob his soul because he was five dollars short on pay day. In the episode "Bummer Vacation," Mr. Krabs pays SpongeBob less than a quarter per year.
In all previous episodes, paper money just had a picture of a clam on it. In "Money Talks", the paper money has pictures of fish on it. Probably, to aid in the whole 'talking' bit.
Mr. Krabs' Money: Spend us!
Mr. Krabs: I won't spend you!
SpongeBob: We're up, Patrick. Wish us luck, Squidward.
Squidward: Do I know you?
If I Could Talk To Money Song
If I could talk to money
How great my life would be
We'd tell each other secrets
All their friends would visit me
I'd bathe in filthy riches
Which is clean enough for me
Oh, if you could tell me what you want
How happy we would be
We'd surely be the best of friends
We'd never disagree
There wouldn't be a downside
Not one that I could see
If I could talk to money
Come along, sing with me
Squidward: No, thanks.
SpongeBob's have to go pee
If I could talk to money
And it could talk to me
We'd always be the best of friends
For all eternity
Mr. Krabs: (to money) I'm not listening.
Mr. Krabs: SpongeBob, I did it, I can talk to money.
Boy: Mom, I`m just doing The Cramp.
Mom: Oh, you kids with your crazy fans.
Patrick: Come on! Everyone do The Cramp!
Squidward: What in the world are you doing?!
SpongeBob: We're limbo dancing for the Dance Contest.
Flying Dutchman: What do you mean you owe me your soul?
Mr. Krabs: You see, I kinda sold my soul to someone else.
Ghost #1: Hey, we were here first!
Ghost #2: Yeah! Get in back of the line!
(Flying Dutchman walks to the back of the line)
Flying Dutchman: You too, SpongeBob?
SpongeBob: He was 5 bucks short on pay day.
Flying Dutchman: Uhhh.
Flying Dutchman: (to Mr. Krabs about their deal) All sales are final from the Flying Dutchman, especially by a selfish shellfish like yourself! (turns to us) Try saying that three times fast.
SpongeBob: I'm really starting to worry about Mr. Krabs.
Squidward: I'm worried he just left with my paycheck.
Squidward: (chuckles) Evidently, I'm such a great dancer, I've been banned from the competition for life.
Mr. Krabs: Do you have anything to say to me?
(Zoom into Mr. Krabs' dirty teeth)
Five Dollar: Yeah! When was the last time you brushed your teeth?
Mr. Krabs: You know what they say: money talks!
SpongeBob: You mean money can talk? Did it tell you to kick those oldsters now? What do you have against old people?
(Mr. Krabs is standing with a dress and a diaper on)
SpongeBob: Mr. Krabs, looking good!
(Patrick walks up in a dress)
Patrick: What's wrong with Mr. Krabs?
Man: I would like that table next to the window.
SpongeBob: OK. As soon as those customers finish eating. They like to chew their food thoroughly.
Old Woman: 96... 97... 98... 99...
Old Man: Don't rush me, woman!
This episode aired in a week of new episodes called "SpongeBob's New New New New New Week."
We learn that Mr. Krabs bathes with money.

Mr. Krabs doesn't appear in "Slimy Dancing." But he does appear in the epilogue, and Sandy doesn't appear in "Money Talks" and "Slimy Dancing."
This is the second time that Patrick has won a trophy by default. The first time was in "The Great Snail Race."
This is the first episode to have an epilogue at the end.
Apparently Mr. Krabs has sold his soul to SpongeBob because he was short 5 dollers on pay day.
This is King Neptune's season five debut.
This is the fourth episode with three segments, unlike others where there are only two.
The first, and only, season five appearance of the Flying Dutchman.

This episode marks another time SpongeBob competes for whoever makes the most Krabby Patties with the first being in "Neptune's Spatula. "
Patchy the Pirate narrates the episode ("SpongeBob vs. Patty Gadget") despite not being seen.
Slimy Dancing: Title
The title spoofs the 1987 romance movie Dirty Dancing.
John Henry
SpongeBob going up against a machine in "SpongeBob vs. The Patty Gadget" is similar to the tale of John Henry, right up to the part where it looked like SpongeBob had a heart attack.
Slimy Dancing: Ending
The ending of "Slimy Dancing" is similar to the ending of the Jimmy Neutron episode called "Maximum Hugh" because everyone was admitting that they were cheating.
