Who was the Episode MVP ?

  • Agree with fsaenz0125 and tigerdude22

This was a good special. I thought the rating would be higher than 7.5 so I give it 8.5.
  • Superb SpongeBob special

I thought this was a very well done western style special of SpongeBob. Pretty amazing and creative plot because it exposed SpongeBob's ancestor. His name was SpongeBuck SquarePants who lives in the 20 century. Most of the parts were great to watch while only a couple parts could have used better like when Squidward, Mr. Krabs, and Mrs. Puff's ancestors denying SpongeBuck. I liked the musical numbers in this episode they were pretty awesome. My Idiot Friend was better IMO. Funny moments were any scenes with Patrick in it (including his ancestor), everyone freaking out over Dead Eye Plankton, the showdown which only lasted briefly since SpongeBuck was stepping on Dead Eye Plankton, everyone stepping on Dead Eye, the "The mosuluks are OVERALL SCORE 9.5/10moreless
  • A superb "SpongeBob SquarePants" special

I thought that this was a superb special of "SpongeBob SquarePants". I thought the plot to this episode was pretty interesting when everyone would tell their stories about their ancestors and then SpongeBob gets disappointed because he doesn't have an ancestor until he and Sandy go to the library and finds out that he has an ancestor named "SpongeBuck SquarePants". I thought it was interesting with the whole story of SpongeBuck SquarePants. It was also funny when SpongeBuck and ancestor Patrick became "idiot friends". I thought it was funny when everyone in town is scared of Dead Eye Plankton because he is so tiny but evil. I thought it was funny when SpongeBuck was riding on that thing that is hard to describe. I also thought that the showdown of SpongeBuck and Dead-Eye Plankton was funny because all SpongeBuck did was step on Dead Eye Plankton. It was hilarious when everyone was stepping on Dead Eye Plankton. It was also funny when they made SpongeBuck's statue have a round underpants. It was gross when SpongeBob got all of the jellyfish poop off the statue but it was cool that SpongeBob found SpongeBuck's statue. I also loved the "idiot friends" song that SpongeBuck and ancestor Patrick sang at the end of the episode. Overall, I thought that this special was a tad rushed but it was overall a superb special. 9.5/10moreless
  • Perfect

At the Krusty Krab, SpongeBob discovers that Patrick has a famous relative named Patrick Revere who warned Bikini Bottom that Mollusks are coming. Too bad no one listened to him. Mr. Krabs told the two of his great-grandpappy Krabs, who invented a painful security invention that hurts the fingers of anyone who touches the booby trapped dollar bill. While walking, SpongeBob runs into Sandy who revealed that she has a relative named Rosy Cheeks was the first squirrel to discover oil in Texas. Feeling sorry for SpongeBob, Sandy takes him to the library to "dig around his family tree". SpongeBob learns that he the great-great-great grandson of a western hero, Sheriff SpongeBuck SquarePants. Sandy tells SpongeBob the story of SpongeBuck SquarePants. SpongeBuck arrived to a town named Dead Eye Gulch and goes to the theater/saloon (west Krusty Krab). SpongeBuck gets to be a Sheriff by Mr. Krabs' ancestor. But then a villain Dead Eye Plankton arrives there and SpongeBuck must face him at high noon (12:00 PM). SpongeBuck gets kicked away and Patrick's ancestor meets him. SpongeBuck gets a nickname for him and it's Idiot Friend. Patrick's ancestor tells him to defeat Dead Eye Plankton by smacking him a lot. When they get back to town (via a giant cactus that made SpongeBuck and Patrick's ancestor jump so high they landed in Dead Eye Gulch) SpongeBuck meets Dead Eye Plankton and the two walk towards each other as though it was a western dual. But he steps on him. Like that, Dead Eye is defeated. Then, all of Dead Eye Gulch (now renamed Bikini Bottom) builds a golden statue of SpongeBuck (Squidward's ancestor liked his design better, which was him as a muscled man). SpongeBob soon realizes that the statue is really covered in jellyfish poop, hence the statue's different look. He cleans it up, which disgusts Sandy. After that, Spongebob and Sandy walk away, while SpongeBob is saying that maybe someday people will know the name SpongeBob SquarePants. Then, in the epilogue SpongeBuck and Pecos Patrick sing a song called "Idiot Friends.

  • Its okay.

I liked this episode, and I really hated the complaints about songs and some other stuff, my only nitpick was the IQ of the main characters in SpongeBuck's story. 7.6/10 Tbh, I think its safe to say that this is my least favorite SpongeBob special. Don't hate it, but don't especially love it. I didn't really like it. I don't hate it though.I actually thought this episode was good, but not the best.It's....okay, I guess. (kinda annoying though, to be honest) has terrible music with it, and the story is lame. a bit. But that is just how I feel.moreless
