The Fish Bowl
Married to Money
Fish #1/Teenager #1/Old Fish
Gary is the only character who appears in "Blackjack" who is not a sponge.
Throughout the episode, the amount of lines on SpongeBob's socks changes from the usual 3 to 2 or 1 in certain scenes, even 5 after getting dumped into the taco.
Not only is SpongeBob shown drawing on his sock lines, but he draws excess lines that never reappear after he draws them.
In "Pat No Pay," if you look closely you can see that Mr. Krabs' safe was behind him, so why would SpongeBob go out of the room?
In "Picture Day", the teenagers were being let out of school when SpongeBob was going to school. But the problem is, why would the teenagers be let out of school when SpongeBob was just going to school?
If SpongeBob believed his parents house was a crime scene, it wasn't wise to touch things.
In Bikini Bottom, peanut butter is seanut butter, and jelly was jellyfish jelly, but in this episode, it was peanut butter and jelly.
In other episodes, SpongeBob's socks already have the lines. In "Picture Day", he draws them.
(Flashback to SpongeBob with a bowtie and blue hat on)
BlackJack: Come on, little man. Let's go a couple of rounds, if you think you're tough.
SpongeBob: Why should we?
BlackJack: Because it'll show what a little man you are. (spins SpongeBob around and plays with him as a jump rope. End of Flashback)
Mr. Krabs: How are you feeling, Patrick?
Patrick: Uhh... couldn't eat anymore.
Mr. Krabs: Well, now that you're better, time to talk pay.
Patrick: What's that?
Mr. Krabs: It's your bill.
Patrick: I don't have any money.
Mr. Krabs: WHAT!? But I thought you said you could pay for it?
Patrick: Oh, I'm paying for it, alright.
Patrick: (to Mr. Krabs) Can I eat now?
SpongeBob: Uncle Captain Blue! I need your help.
Uncle Captain Blue: Well, if it isn't little SpongeBob! Plant a firm one on me, Bobby!
(SpongeBob's hand pops off when he shakes with Uncle Captain Blue)
SpongeBob: I need you to help me rescue my parents!
(his uncle can't hear him over the lawnmower)
Uncle Captain Blue: Sure, Little Bobby! I could use some help with the lawn, but you're gonna need this to do the job right. (Hands SpongeBob his disembodied arm. Cut to SpongeBob, beginning to mow the lawn)
Narrator: 346 minutes later...
(SpongeBob runs into Uncle Captain Blue's garage, where Captain Blue is making a smoothie in a mixer)
SpongeBob: Uncle Captain Blue! I need to help my parents. They're in danger.
Uncle Captain Blue: What? You want to build a fence? The boy came to work!
SpongeBob: Actually, I came to try to find my...
(Uncle Captain Blue gives SpongeBob supplies)
Uncle Captain Blue: And when you're done, I've made a tomato and clam juice smoothie to refresh you! (Pours some of the smoothie into a cup and drinks the rest from the blender.
SpongeBob builds the fence around the property and returns to the garage, where Uncle Captain Blue is listening to someone over a radio.)
Uncle Captain Blue: (Into radio) And how many candles you burning out there? Over.
Voice: (Drowned out by radio static) 672...
(Blue turns the knob and still can't hear anything)
Uncle Captain Blue: Do you copy? Over. Copy? Do you copy?
SpongeBob: Uncle Captain Blue! Uncle Captain Blue! Please help me.
Uncle Captain Blue: Well, of course you can!
(SpongeBob cuts down a coral tree with a chainsaw, paints by putting his back in the paint tray and sliding up and down the house walls, and fixes a boatmobile. When he rolls out from underneath the boat on a skateboard, he turns and pounds his head to get a nut, bolt and carburator out of his ear.)
Narrator: Much, much, much later...
(SpongeBob crawls into the garage on his tongue and up to Uncle Captain Blue, who dances to a sea chanty.)
SpongeBob: I am desperately searching for Mommy and Daddy!
Uncle Captain Blue: Landscaping? Isn't it a little dark out for landscaping?
(SpongeBob turns and yanks the record player out of the wall.)
SpongeBob: Wait, I know this. If Patrick doesn`t eat a Krabby Patty, he`ll be complaining here for another 3 minutes.
Mr. Krabs: Then what are we waiting for? Bring on the patties!
SpongeBob: Nice try, clock, but you gotta wake up much earlier to get me on Picture Day!
Patrick: I have the solution. (licks the jelly)
Patrick: I have solved my hunger problem.
SpongeBob: That's it! (jumps into the jar of jelly) This jelly jar will insulate me from the dirty draigs of Bikini Bottom!
SpongeBob: Patrick, a little privacy here.
Patrick: Oh, sorry, SpongeBob, I just came here to get some jelly.
SpongeBob: Hey, it`s just water. (stamp truck crashes) Oh no! Stamps! (oatmeal truck crashes) Haaa! Oatmeal! (glue truck crashes) Glue.
Photographer: Say cheese.
SpongeBob: Cheese. (cries)
Photographer: Wait, put these on! There, that will make you smile.
Patrick: SpongeBob, get out of my taco!
Patrick: What's wrong, buddy?
SpongeBob: I just wanted to get a decent picture to remember myself by. But, all I'm gonna remember is a guy covered in peanut butter!
SpongeBob: (looks at his picture) Hey, I don't look that bad!
(The Krusty Krab explodes)
Patrick: Can I eat now?
Mr. Krabs: Okay, I have a job that even an imbecile like you can do. All you have to do is to dump the trash into this hole.
(Mr. Krabs leaves; Patrick dumps the trash)
Patrick: Why doesn't it go in?
(SpongeBob walks in)
SpongeBob: You have to push the trash button.
Patrick: Thanks, SpongeBob! You're a genius.
Blackjack: Hey, great to see that you're still a little man. So did you come here to quiver or to wrestle?
SpongeBob: To quiver.
Mr. Krabs: Look, Patrick, you have to empty those ice cubes, and put them in this barrel.
SpongeBob: Grandma, are you speaking to me from the beyond?
Grandma: If you mean beyond the kitchen table, then yes.
SpongeBob: Grandma, you`re not being tormented by Blackjack?!
Mrs. SpongeBob: Help!
SpongeBob: Ahhh! Coming mom! (runs in to the basement) Mom, Dad, you have to leave!
Mom: But if we leave now, we'll miss the party. We're celebrating Blackjack's release from prison.
SpongeBob: Release from prison?! So, you`re not being tortured by Blackjack?
Mr. SpongeBob: No, SpongeBob. Blackjack already did his time. No longer will he steal, or litter.
Patrick: I tried the hand soap... it doesn't taste as good as it smells.
Uncle Cap'N Blue: Do you have any idea of what people like that do to people like you?

Strangely enough, when SpongeBob said that Patrick will be mumbling about it for the next 3 and a half minutes, that is how long the segment lasted.
This is Grandma's season five debut and her second appearance in the series.
This is the sixth episode to have three segments, where as the other ones only have two.
SpongeBob's cousin's name Blackjack might be a reference to the comedian Jack Black.
