In "Rise and Shine," after saying "Oh fine! I'll ask someone who cares!" Patrick removes his underwear and puts them on his pillow. However, in the next the underwear is only just big enough for the pillow, not Patrick.
When the mob was coming to the radio station, they had torches, but they're underwater.
Why is Patrick's gym teacher still the same? Same clothes, same voice. He should be old already.
This is the fourth episode that we see Patrick's living room. The first was "I'm With Stupid," the second was "Rock-a-Bye Bivalve" and the third was "Rule of Dumb."
Patrick tells SpongeBob that he missed his birthday party. SpogeBob then starts crying but, a little later Patrick tells SpongeBob that he was only outside for twenty minutes. What kind of birthday party is twenty minutes?
In "Waiting", SpongeBob says that he is "so hungry", but if he just ate all that cereal, how could he be hungry? Was it a different day?
After SpongeBob was kicked out of the comic store, he wanted his arms back, but aren't his arms suppose to grow back?
In previous episodes, SpongeBob is right-handed, but in "Waiting," he was seen writing with his left hand, In previous episodes, Patrick was left-handed, but in "Sing a Song of Patrick," Patrick was seen writing with his right hand.
Before the premiere of "Driven to Tears," "Rule of Dumb," "The Pink Purloiner," "The Gift of Gum," "Rise and Shine," "Waiting," and "Sing a Song of Patrick," viewers voted online for who would become president of Bikini Bottom: Patrick or Larry the Lobster. The election results (announced after "Sing a Song of Patrick") revealed that the majority of each state voted for Patrick.
Patrick: SpongeBob, where's the ringing coming from? (stomach growls) Breakfast! Come to Patrick, tartar sauce I'm all out of food again.
SpongeBob: Hey, Gary, do you ever wonder how Patrick's mornings are like?
Patrick: (alarm clock starts to ring) Ahh!!! What's making that noise? Oh, it's you again.
Fish #1: Who is responsible for that song on the radio?
SpongeBob: Why, he is right here. Patrick Star, musical genius.
Patrick: (drones, then burps)
Patrick: Huh? What? Huh? No!! (screaming)
Patrick: A clean mouth is a happy mouth. Done.
Squidward: (Sniffs) What's that smell? (Pause) Is Patrick thinking again?
Man Fish: (putting his arm around his girlfriend) This song, always makes me think of you.
Singer: (singing) PU, what's that horrible smell?
(girlfriend punches her boyfriend)
Patrick: I gotta put on my teeth and brush my pants!
Patrick: I said stop it! (breaks the lamp)
SpongeBob: How was your morning, Patrick?
Patrick: Oh, you know, the usual.
SpongeBob: Say, Gary, do you ever wonder what Patrick`s mornings are like?
(the bell rings)
Patrick: Oh, what?! Who!? Oh, it`s you again.
Patrick: Oh, no! I`m not decent.
SpongeBob: I`m waiting. I`m waiting.
SpongeBob & Patrick: We`re waiting. We`re waiting.
Patrick: All right, I`m gonna grab a Krabby Patty. I don`t think my arm can stand anymore of this. (his stomach bites the arm)
Patrick: All right, joke`s over.
(the bell keeps ringing)
Patrick: Would you cut it out?
Patrick: Oh, I get you need a plate. (takes a plate) Here, now. Hop on the comfy plate.
Patrick: Oh, I get it. The food is in the can!
SpongeBob: Where`s the toy? (checks the box) Oh, my gosh! Free toy offer inside!
SpongeBob: You`re right, Gary. I should have checked the box tops first.
SpongeBob: I`ve waited so long for it, and you broke it.
Patrick: SpongeBob, you aren`t mad, are you?
Sandy: Hey, SpongeBob, do you want to do some karatay?
(SpongeBob flips her)
SpongeBob: Gee, I`m waiting for a toy! Doesn`t anyone understand?!
Comic Store Owner: Hey, are you gonna pay for those?
(Comic Store Owner kicks him out)
SpongeBob: Can I have my arms back?!
SpongeBob: Oh, Patrick. Those ads always exaggerate. Those x-ray glasses I sent away for didn't let me see through people, just their clothes.
Gym Teacher: Looks like you need another lesson, Patrick. Dodgeballs ready!
(crowd holds up dodgeballs)
(Patrick turns on the stereo, music begins blasting)
SpongeBob: IT'S REALLY LOUD!
Patrick: You need it louder? OK! (turns up the volume; Patrick's song starts playing)

SpongeBob: I don't see any dodgeballs here, buddy. Just an artist and his work.
Patrick: Yeah, and me, too!
(SpongeBob`s wallet falls down)
SpongeBob: Oooh, can you get that?
Patrick: (grabs money from SpongeBob's wallet) Hey, look, I just found $100. It's a sign that I should make my hit record.
SpongeBob: Hey, that's my comic book money.
Patrick: It's a sign... a sign that fell from the back of your pants. I've learned to trust signs like that.
SpongeBob: Ew, what's this?
Patrick: Whatever it is, it's mine... unless I don't want it. Ooh, ooh, ooh. Spongebob, what do all these words say?
SpongeBob: It's an ad: Dear comic book reader.
Patrick: That's me!
SpongeBob: Have you ever thought about turning one of your poems into a hit song on the radio?
Patrick: I never thought about anything.

The original title for "Sing a Song of Patrick" was going to be "I Am the Starfish," a reference to the song "I Am the Walrus" by The Beatles.
Gary makes a cameo appearance in "Rise and Shine."
This is the first time that Patrick gets a band to play a song he made.
