In "Good Neighbors", after Squidward stomps on SpongeBob and Patrick's fezzes, they are gone.
In "Good Neighbors," one of the construction workers has a space between his teeth. But it keeps changing. First, two of his teeth is missing. Then, the color of his mouth from the view of the space changes from black to red.
In "Skill Crane," SpongeBob cared about money, he has never cared about money before.
In "Good Neighbors," SpongeBob is preparing for role call. The podium says "Good Neighbor" on the logo and "Club" is underneath the logo, but they are actually apart of the "Good Neighbor Lodge."

Squidward is upset about not getting to read his Sunday paper in "Good Neighbors", but in "Can You Spare a Dime" he says he's allergic to newsprint.
In both episodes a part of Bikini Bottom is destroyed. In "Skill Crane" the new mall is destroyed by the crane that Squidward starts controlling, while in "Good Neighbors" Squidward's house destroys almost all of the city.
When Squidward's house flattens him, he's far away from where his house previously was, but a few seconds later it's right where it was before.

In "Skill Crane," after SpongeBob wins a toy while showing Squidward how to win, he wins Barry again!
At the start of "Good Neighbors," when Squidward is in bed, he is wearing pink pajamas. Then after he yells at SpongeBob saying today is Sunday, and he kicks SpongeBob right out of the house, he pokes out and we briefly see him wearing his brown shirt, but then when we see a close up of him, he is wearing his pink pajamas!
In "Good Neighbors," SpongeBob and Patrick are seen inside Squidward's house and everything is not broken. But in a previous scene, when SpongeBob got paint on Squiward's face, Squidward broke everything in that room.
In "Skill Crane," when Mr. Krabs is counting all of Squidward's quarters, they are all golden-colored and not grey like normal quarters.
In "Skill Crane," when SpongeBob wins several times, the winning sign changes to "You Win," "Winner," and "Win."
When Squidward tells SpongeBob and Patrick to paint the town polka dots, he never told them what color polka dots, but SpongeBob and Patrick still use red paint?
The first time Mr. Krabs gives Squidward change for a dollar, he gives him four quarters. He pays once and goes back for more change, but he had 3 quarters left, so he didn't need to go back for more.
In "Skill Crane," the time when Squidward finally wins, he watches SpongeBob's "secret" to winning, and then puts in a quarter to play. Right before he plays, SpongeBob goes, "Put in the quarter" and he puts in another quarter. But, he had already put one in.
Squidward tells SpongeBob and Patrick to paint all the trees in town polka-dots, but they're underwater.
In "Good Neighbors," when SpongeBob is waking Squidward up before SpongeBob gets to Squidward's house on his window, SpongeBob's house is facing Squidward's house.
When SpongeBob's hat is showing at Squidward's window after they get done painting the polka dots, SpongeBob's hat is purple for that second.
In "Skill Crane", Mr. Krabs hid himself and his cash register inside SpongeBob, but when he got out, he left the cash register inside SpongeBob.

Squidward: (gasps) You didn't win the prize?

(kid comes and kicks Squidward)

SpongeBob: What's that, Clown Frown?
(Clown Frown makes honking noise)
SpongeBob: Oh, you'd rather sit next to lovely lion? (uses crane to to move Clown Frown)
SpongeBob: There you are nice and cozy.
(Squidward plugs in new Security System 5000)
SS5000: System activated.
Squidward: Well, that oughtta do it. Lets see those imbeciles try and get in here now...
(Spongebob and Patrick walk up behind Squidward)
Spongebob: President Squidward,...
Squidward: (Jumps up, shocked.) WHAT THE--?!
Spongebob: We hereby present you this delicious cake.
Squidward: (Reads the frosting print on the cake.) "Sorry for bugging you so much--" what the?! Security system, help! Intruder alert! Intruder alert! What's the matter with you?!
SS5000: No threat detected.
Squidward: Grr, you infernal contraption! (pounds on machine) I'm gonna ship you off to the scrap heap you came from!
SS5000: Threat detected.
(Laser gun points at Squidward, shocking him. Squidward lands on the ground, which the impact sends Spongebob to accidently throw the cake in the air, landing on the SS5000 monitor, causing the system to short-circuit and shake the entire house.)
Squidward: W-What's going on?
SS5000: Threat detected. Code Red. Code Red.
Spongebob: Whoopee! It's like a carnival ride!
Squidward: RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!
Spongebob and Patrick: By the power of the all-seeing eye, ye are worthy, we are not.
Squidward: WHAT ARE YOU IDIOTS DOING?!
Mr. Krabs: Need some change?
Mr. Krabs: W-Why?
Squidward: Because, I'm all out of...MONEY!!!
Spongebob: Two in one quarter, thats not fair! (Puts Frown clown back into the machine and uses the crane to place him down) What's that Frown Clown, you'd rather be next to Lovely Lion? (Takes the toy and moves it next to Lovely Lion)
Mr. Krabs: Boys, it's pay day!
SpongeBob: But Mr. Krabs, today's Monday.
Mr. Krabs: No, it's pay day, me boy. Here's your check, Spongebob. (Gives SpongeBob his check)
SpongeBob: Money, money, money, money, money.
Mr. Krabs: (Gives Squidward a money sack) I took the liberty in turning your paycheck into quarters in case if you wanna, oh, I don't know, do laundry or buy a soda or something.
Squidward: (Sarcastically) Very funny, Mr. Krabs. If I can't win one of those stupid things with this quarter, I'm walking away.
Narrator: Six Hours Later...
(Squidward is seen with the empty money sack covering his head)
SpongeBob: Hey, Squidward, SpongeBear Jr. wants me to win him a little brother.
(Squidward crawls away)
Spongebob: ( To Patrick)Come on Patrick, lets paint thetown polkadots.
Squidward: I GOTTA WIN THAT CRANE!!!
SpongeBob: (Wins Skill Crane) Hey, Squidward. (Wins again) Hey Squidward (Wins again) Hey, Squidward.
Squidward: (In a low tone) Aw.
Mr. Krabs: At a quarter a pop, this thing'll pay for itself in no time. Which reminds me. Step up, boys. First one's free.
(Gives Squidward and SpongeBob each a quarter)
Spongebob: Thanks, Mr Krabs.
Squidward: No thanks, I'll pass.
Mr. Krabs:Come on, Squidward; You know you want to.
Squidward:Okay, if you insist. (Walks away with his quarter) Thanks.
Mr. Krabs: SQUIDWARD! In the machine!
Squidward:All right, all right! (Tries Skill Crane.)Oh, boy, what fun.
Squidward:(Turns to Spongebob, excited.) Did you see that, SpongeBob? I almost got that on my first try!
Mr. Krabs: My work here is done. (Walks away.)
SpongeBob: Hahahahaha, there you go, Ms.Wiggles, Beary cooked this one all by himself. I am so proud.
Fish: (To SpongeBob, Patrick, & Squidward) Because of all the destruction you caused, you three will have to work every Sunday of your life.
Squidward: Oh my...oh my...t-time to go, Teddy (bumps into larger construction worker)!
Const. worker 1: Just where do you think you're going, Crane Master?
Const. worker 2: You ain't going anywhere.
(All construction workers surround Squidward. Crane swings above Squidward with SpongeBob in control.)
SpongeBob: (Whistles) Hang on, buddy, I gotcha!
(Crane lowers down into the const. worker circle and picks up Squidward's teddy bear.)
SpongeBob: I guess I can only pick up toys!
SpongeBob: Do you think Squidward was trying to tell us something?
Squidward: (Starts yelling at the top of his lungs) Yes, I was! You call yourselves good neighbors?! You're the worst neighbors ever!! You don't deserve to wear those fezzes!!! (Grabs the fezzes, drops them, and stomps on them)
SpongeBob: Gee, Patrick. I think Squidward is right.
Patrick: Yeah, I guess we aren't good neighbors after all.
Squidward: (Screaming) No, you aren't!! You're horrible neighbors!!! (Gasping for deep breath) And stop calling me "President"!!!!
Mr. Krabs makes at least $874.75 off Squidward in "Skill Crane".
This is the second time Squidward is flattened underneath a house. The first time was by SpongeBob's in "Home Sweet Pineapple".
Sandy doesn't appear in "Skill Crane".
We learn that SpongeBob can only pick up toys in cranes.
Plankton doesn't make an appearance in this episode.

The music for the title card of "Skill Crane" was also used in Patrick's dream in "Sleepy Time."
Krabs thinks he'll make money off the crane. But the Skill Crane Company, gets all the money out of the machines.
The music for the title screen was heard in the background in Patrick's dream in "Sleepy Time", in a place called Bunny Buns in "Mid-Life Crustacean", and when SpongeBob and Patrick are figureskating in "Shanghaied".

In the end, Squidward ends up doing community service with SpongeBob and Patrick every Sunday for the rest of his life.
"Good Neighbor" is also the first season 4 episode to not take place at the Krusty Krab or have it make an appearance.
"Good Neighbor" is the first season 4 episode not to have Mr. Krabs in it.
Scary Movie 3
When Patrick throws a paint bucket and it hits a man on a bike, it's similar to what a guy did in Scary Movie 3.
SpongeBob & Patrick: By the All-Seeing Eye...
This is a reference to the world-wide secret society, the Illuminati. The All-Seeing Eye also appears on the back of the $1 bill.
Twilight Zone: Squidward hearing his name come from the squeaky crane of the crane machine in "Skill Crane" is very similar to the Twilight Zone episode "The Fever", where Franklin hears his name from the coins falling out of the slot machine, since both of them were addicted to winning that certain game.
