  • Not the worst but pretty average.

    6.5
I don't hate this episode as much as some others but I don't love it either. It's average. Nothing more, nothing less. That's all I have to say.

    just all out dull

  • WTH are you people talking about? This episode is nothing like "The Sponge Who Could Fly", "The Splinter", or "Squidward's School For Grown Ups"

    8.0
This was a great episode for the One Billionth time!!! Deal with it! They didn't just say "Ooh" or "Ugh", They'd call each other "Spongegar" or "patgar". You know they're cavemen right? I mean, sure the plot wasn't very good (That's the reason why my score was a little low). But like "Fear of a Krabby Patty", "Whobob whatpants (Whatever Happened To Spongebob)" "Atlantis Squarepantis", this episode was underrated and funny. I loved all Patchy moments in this episode. If you wanna hate on a season 3 episode that actually wasn't funny, hate on "The Sponge Who Could Fly". I thought Season 3 was the best season! Licking Gary's slime was pretty gross. But they learn fire, UNDERWATER. That's why this episode is called UGH, as in UGH you haters gonna hate. There's no Spongebob episode more underrated than this one. And on the fire, They grill stuff such as rocks to make popcorn, or stuff like that. Overall, I think that's it since I only had to talk with the haters on this episode, nothing else. Overall Grade: (8.0/10) Bmoreless
  • Prehistoric SpongeBob episode

    5.0
This was a mediocre prehistoric special of SpongeBob. I don't know why but these three specials during the third season were never my cup of tea. There's only worse special than this and that was Whatever Happened to SpongeBob (WhoBob What Pants) and the Great Patty Caper. The later specials are better (expect those two and the first tv movie) than the one in the third season combined. The reason for the mediocre score is the storyline in the actual episode. It is kinda dumb... I only laughed liked a few times. Patchy's segments were very hilarious and that's why the score is higher. Without it, my score would be a terrible one (and it would be the worst episode ever for the pre movie era). Overall this special has a lame actual storyline with a better subplot. 5/10moreless
  • No comedy or plot for that matter. Brainless, like neanderthals.

    2.5
Might as well call it Spongebob B.C. for "Bull Crud." It was a poor excuse for a special, and was in my mind the biggest flop of season 3. It was the beginning of the end for a decline in this showsrepertoire. This episode featured various oogs and grunts from the main cast re-drawn as primitive undersea folk. The episode has no thrills, and cheap children laughs thrown in such as lightning shocks to Squidward being the icing on the cake. Animation improved from the previous seasons, but animation is nothing with a horrible plot . . . oh who am I kidding, it had no plot. End of story. Done.

Do not watch this episode to make judgement on this show. Heck, don't watch anything past season 4, and even that is risky.moreless
