In "SpongeHenge," SpongeBob said he needed to create several stone SpongeBobs that were all different sizes. However, all of the SpongeBobs he builds seem to be the same size.
How did SpongeBob get a jackhammer or other tools to chisel the rocks if he ran into the cave to hide and wouldn't leave?
When the jellyfish goes into SpongeBob's body, his brain was attached to his eyes. But in "Mermaid Man And Barnacle Boy IV," Sandy kicks SpongeBob's brain and it's not attached to his eyes and in "Plankton," it was just floating around.
Jack M. Crazyfish sounds diffrent in "20,000 Patties Under The Sea" from when he sounded in "Blackened Sponge."
This episode may be set in the past/future, since the sea monster says he's been asleep for 79 years, but he said his last meal was in '76. If he was referring to 1876, 1776 or 1676 etc, this episode is set in the past, but if the sea monster meant 1976, then this episode would be set in 2055.
If SpongeBob & Patrick had to let go of all of the money, how could they get back with all of those rocks, since rocks weigh more?
When SpongeBob gives the sea monster the first patty, you can see that the patty is black, not brown.
Planet of The Apes is slightly refrenced at the end when SpongeBob, with a Charlton Heston beard, see's the Krusty Krab in the sand and yells "NO!"
Near the end of "20,000 Patties Under the Sea," a contractor is shown in the Krusty Krab wiping the window near the front of the building, apparently having repaired the damage SpongeBob and Patrick had done with the ufo near the beginning of the episode. However, if you watch carefully, you'll notice they didn't actually crash through the front window. They crashed through the side of the building.
This is the second episode to show the future, the first being "SB-129."
In "SpongeHenge," the driveway in front of Mr. Krabs disappears when he's reeling SpongeBob to the Krusty Krab.
Plankton's burgers looked different in this episode.
How could SpongeBob say that he's never been late to the Krusty Krab if he had been late before?
This is the second appearance of Jack M. Crazyfish; he last appeared in "Blackened Sponge."
SpongeBob: Breaker breaker, the outer perimeter looks clear.
SpongeBob: See any customers, Patrick?
Patrick: No, but I see a sign. It says, "Warning: Ab... Eyes?"
SpongeBob: Let me see. (looks through periscope) No, Patrick, that says "Abyss."
SpongeBob: I think I landed on my pain center.
SpongeBob: Patrick, what is that thing?
Patrick: It looks like a liquid.
SpongeBob: No, it's a solid! It's a solid!
(they look at each other)
Both: It's a lolsquid!
Sea Monster: Okay, what's going on in there?
Sea Monster: I want more sandwiches!
SpongeBob: Target is in site, Patrick. Over.
Patrick: Uh, Robert! Uh, Ronald. Uh, Ryan.
SpongeBob: Patrick, are you sure you're not trying to say Roger?
Patrick: Oh, wait! I got it! Ringo!
Patrick: I'm sorry, SpongeBob, but you're a negative influence!
SpongeBob: (looking at a jellyfish) Patrick, I have visual contact.
(a time card says, "3 Million Years Later")
Futuristic Alien: To this day, no one knows why these mysterious statues were created or by whom. All we know is that the genius of their design has caused the annual migration of jellyfish to their wondrous tune.
SpongeBob & Patrick: We're back, Mr. Krabs!
Mr. Krabs: Well boys, what did you get!
SpongeBob: Oh, you'll be so proud of us! We made so many new customers.
Mr. Krabs: I don`t care about that, tell me about the money!
SpongeBob: There we were at the bottom of a deep, dark abyss, and we had to let go of something heavy.
Patrick: And paper.
Mr. Krabs: You let go of the money I earned?!
SpongeBob: But on the bright side, we did manage to bring back 37,000 pounds of these decorative deep sea rocks. (opens the compartment of the ship, and rocks fall out)
SpongeBob: Bye, Squidward. Bye, Mr. Krabs. (in a flirting tone) Bye, Squidward.
Patrick: You said bye to Squidward twice.
SpongeBob: I like Squidward.
Sea Monster: I want dessert!
SpongeBob: We don't have desserts.
Sea Monster: I want dessert!
Plankton: Don't get another patty from those fast food phonies, they stole my idea, my idea!
(Plankton rolls down the cliff)
Sea Monster: Hey, a chocolate eclair! That looks like dessert to me.
Plankton: Ahhh! (runs)
(a Chum Burger falls down)
SpongeBob: Oh, what`s that?
Sea Monster: Well, that looks like a sandwich to me. (eats the burger)
SpongeBob: Yes, not just a sandwich, it's a Chumwich.
Sea Monster: I want more burgers!
SpongeBob: They'll be right up!
SpongeBob: Patrick, look. There's a weird thing sticking out of the ground right there.
Patrick: That's just Squidward sunbathing again.
SpongeBob: No, not that thing, that thing!
Plankton: Hello, little boy. Would you like a Chum Burger?
Boy Fish: Uh, does it come in raspberry?
Plankton: Uh, no.
Boy Fish: Blueberry?
Plankton: No.
Boy Fish: Um... raspberry?
Plankton: Oh, come on, kid, you asked me that already! Now quit wasting my time!
Mom Fish: Hey, you can't talk to my son that way! Who do you think you are?
Plankton: I'm Plankton, you old hag, and your son smells like boogers!
Dad Fish: Hey, you can't talk to my wife that way! What do you think this is?
Plankton: I think it's time for you to lose some weight, fatty! That's what it is!
Grandma Fish: Hey, you can't talk to my grandson like that! Someone ought to put you in a mental hospital!
Plankton: Someone should put you in a box, floating down the river, Grandma!
Grandma Fish: You're probably right.
Plankton: You people are crazy!
"SpongeHenge" inspires by ancient times around 3000 years.
Plankton doesn't appear in "SpongeHenge".
Jack M. Crazyfish is shown in this episode.
We learn that Patrick can produce a human nose.
This is the first time that a weatherman was seen at anytime in the series.
SpongeBob has brown hair in this episode. But in the other episodes, he was seen with blond hair.
Gene Simmons does the voice for the Sea Monster, who is also the singer of the Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band, Kiss.
As for production order, "SpongeHenge" is actually paired with "The Two Faces of Squidward" and "20,000 Patties Under the Sea" is paired with "The Battle of Bikini Bottom."
Gary doesn't appear in "20,000 Patties Under the Sea."
"Spongehenge" won a 2008 Golden Reel Award for Best Sound Editing in Television: Animated.
Sandy doesn't appear in this episode.
This is currently the fifth episode where jellyfish play a big role.
This is the second time the jellyfish annoy SpongeBob, first time being in "Jellyfish Jam."
Character Debut: The Sea Monster.
This is the second time Spongebob's hands are too big for the buttons and the second time Spongebob says, "My hands are too big for the buttons." The first time was in "Suds."
The scene where SpongeBob is in a cave hiding from the jellyfish and making a stone buddy is a reference to the movie Castaway.
As for who was right in the Neptune/Poseidon debate seen in the very beginning, they were both right. The Romans called him Neptune and the Greeks called him Poseidon.
SpongeBob: But we did manage to bring back these decorative deep sea rocks.
The rocks that SpongeBob brings back are similar to the rocks that people place on the bottom of their fish bowls.
SpongeHenge: Song in SpongeBob's Holes
One of the songs that is played in SpongeBob's holes sounds a little bit like a song played in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Are we There Yet?
When SpongeBob said goodbye to Squidward twice, and then said, "I like Squidward" was a parody of a quote to "Are we There yet?"
Monster
The one-eyed monster looked like a cyclops.
20,000 Patties Under the Sea: Name
This episode is based on a book called "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea", by Jules Verne.
Planet of the Apes
SpongeBob with brown hair and a brown beard who arrived at a half-buried Krusty Krab is a parody of the original Planet of the Apes.
The Day After Tomorrow
The part of the episode when SpongeBob is mourning the fact that the Krusty Krab was abandoned in the time he was hiding is a reference to The Day After Tomorrow.
