The Original Fry Cook: I thought this was a decent episode. I don't get why everyone hate it (I mean, KK episodes are usually not my favorites though). Plus, I don't think Jim wasn't that bad, he was just an okay character. I didn't liked how SpongeBob was treated and thought he was replace by Jim because everyone praised his work. Also, Mr. Krabs (in the flashback) kept laughing was getting annoying. I only laughed twice; those were the first part and Squidward used to has blond long hair and then it fell off (that was very funny). I liked the parts where we know about the Krusty Krab before SpongeBob, Jim critiquing SponeBob's work, and those are pretty much it. Overall, a decent but got boring episode. 7/10

Night Light: This episode was better than the Original Fry Cook since it got more funny parts. But it is still boring in some parts. I laughed at SpongeBob reading a story, then kept getting scared by it, the face in the freezer (very creepy though), SpongeBob kept getting lights, Patrick thinks that SpongeBob was having a party because of the lights, Patrick moving his rock to the pineapple, SpongeBob and Patrick getting more lights, and a few more. Overall, a superb episode and improvement over the original fry cook. 9/10moreless

The Original Fry Cook: The Krusty Krab's original fry cook, Jim, stops by and SpongeBob thinks Jim is taking his job. Night Light: SpongeBob reads a scary story before bed and thinks that the "Creepy Crawlers of the Dark" are in his house, so he can't fall asleep. The next morning, Mr. Krabs recommends to get a night light, but SpongeBob goes overboard with them.

"The Original Fry Cook" was overall good but not great and "Night Light" was great and just a little better than the first pairing

The Original Fry Cook: I thought that this was a good but not great episode of "SpongeBob SquarePants". I thought it was awesome that Patton Oswalt (who was the voice of Remy in "Ratatouille" and had the role as Spencer Olchin in "The King of Queens") guest starred in this episode as Jim and he did a very good job voicing as Jim. I didn't laugh once in this episode but I didn't lower the score because the plot to this episode wasn't bad at all. While there was absolutely no humor in this episode, there were a few that I liked. I thought it was great when SpongeBob ate Jim's krabby patty and SpongeBob had an experience inside his head. I also thought it was great that SpongeBob begged Jim to teach how to be a great fry cook and then Jim was teaching SpongeBob how to be a great fry cook. The story at the end of the episode of why Jim quit the Krusty Krab years ago was also interesting as well. I just took away points because I felt very bad for SpongeBob when Mr. Krabs was paying more attention to Jim and seems to be giving him more credit for his work than he does to SpongeBob and I also thought Squidward was mean. Okay, I know Squidward thinks that SpongeBob is annoying but it really made me mad when you can see Squidward cheering for Jim and you have never seen Squidward cheer for SpongeBob. Apparently, Squidward forgets the nice things that SpongeBob does for him. Even though I didn't laugh once in this episode, I didn't take away points because as long as the story was well written...well... at least written decently. Overall, not a great but overall good episode of "SpongeBob SquarePants". 7.5/10

Night Light: I thought that this episode was little better than its first pairing but it still could have improved a little more. SpongeBob reading Gary a scary story in the beginning of the episode and then couldn't sleep was funny. Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob to buy a night light so SpongeBob wouldn't be scared. This doesn't make sense to me but why would SpongeBob buy a bunch of night lights when he can just leave the lights in this house on?... but oh well. SpongeBob and Patrick running around town to get all kinds of light was very funny. It was great that SpongeBob defeated "The Moth" while MermaidMan and BarnacleBoy were just watching. It was funny when "The Moth" carried SpongeBob's pineapple away. I also thought it was funny when MermaidMan was saying "Why are we here?" and then he says "Who are those two hideous creatures of the dark?" and the very ending was also hilarious when Patrick ran up the sunlight and then his pants catches on fire. My score is just little low because some parts just dragged a little and were kind of boring. Overall, a great episode of "SpongeBob SquarePants". 8.5/10moreless

first of all, The Original Fry Cook was kind of cool. It was cool to see the fry cook that worked at the Krusty Krab before Spongebob did. It was also kind of cool to see the past of the Krusty Krab. Also, I liked the guest star Patton Oswalt as Jim. Now for Night Light, I liked to see Mermaidman and Barnacleboy for the first time since season 4. It was my favorite of the two. I liked all of the different lights spongebob bought for the "creepy creatures of the dark." Great episodes in my opinion I think.moreless

The Original Fry Cook was so boring. First of all, I really didn't like this episode because of the way Mr. Krabs began treating SpongeBob when Jim showed up. Why? OK, because he acted like SpongeBob never exsisted. All he did was brag about how great Jim was. I also didn't like how he complimented Squidward on being his best employee. Mr. Krabs are you forgetting who it was that testified agaisnt you when Plankton sued you? But, I mainly don't like this one because it was just so boring. Grade: F-. 2.0/10

Night Light was ten times better. First of all, it was funny how SpongeBob got freaked out by every little thing in the dark. Although the guy in the freezer kinda creeped me out. But, it was funny when Patrick and SpongeBob danced on top of his rock. And how Patrick went to go get the sun in the end. But, I felt Mermaidman and Barnacle Boy weren't neccessary in this episode. Other than that, everything in this episode was great. Grade: B+. 8.0/10.moreless
