In SquarePants Family Vacation, SpongeBob and Patrick go out to explore, fall down a ravine and find themselves in a strange place. In Sandy's Vacation in Ruins, SpongeBob, Sandy and Patrick go on vacation to the Ancient Ruins. SpongeBob, thinking it is the Ancient Rains, comes prepared with an umbrella. The friends soon find themselves trapped inside the ruins with a variety of silly characters.

When a haunted houseboat crashes into Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob and Patrick decide to check it out. They meet the ghost captain named Lord Poltergeist, who steals their souls until they buy him a new head gasket for his boat. After Mr. Krabs gives them one, he and Squidward tag along in order to find any treasure they can take from the ghost ship.

House Sittin' for Sandy: SpongeBob agrees to house sit for Sandy. However, chaos erupts when Patrick comes for a visit. Smoothe Jazz at Bikini Bottom: SpongeBob and Squidward go to the "Kelpy G" jazz concert.

Mermaid Man Begins: We learn the origin story of the underwater superhero Mermaid Man and his sidekick Barnacle Boy.

Plankton's Good Eye: Plankton steals SpongeBob's DNA so he can grow a second eye, but Plankton having a second eye means that his personality changes.

Barnacle Face: When Pearl gets a barnacle on the side of her face, Mr. Krabs has SpongeBob help her get rid of it before the school dance.

Pet Sitter Pat: Patrick watches Gary while SpongeBob goes to Gramma's house to celebrate her birthday.

When Patrick suddenly grows a beard, Patrick decides to become more adult with Squidward showing him how. But when Patrick becomes too mature to do anything fun, SpongeBob worries about losing his best friend.

When SpongeBob takes out his garbage after cleaning his house, Patrick reprimands him for letting go of all the items he deems has sentimental value. After pondering the concept, SpongeBob decides to keep every item he owns for its sentimental value until his home becomes too cramped for him to live in.
