SpongeBob tapes a picture of DoodleBob to the wall. But the picture is no longer seen in other episodes.
'Play THQ' recently made a video game called Drawn To Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition based on "Frankendoodle" where DoodleBob is the main villain.
While Patrick is complaining about how sick the doodle makes him, if you notice, SpongeBob's buck teeth disappear and do not reappear until Patrick says that the doodle has buck teeth.
In the episode "Frankendoodle," the man shown drawing on the boat is Mr. Lawrence, the voice of Plankton.
You can clearly see a long string connected to the artist's boat at 'Frankendoodle'.
We learn Mr. Krabs isn't good at making Krabby Patties.
Why didn't SpongeBob simply go out and get the other half of the pencil after he accidentally threw it out the window?
If you look closely at the magazine Robo-SpongeBob is reading when he starts to rebel against Plankton, it has a SpongeBob comic strip in it, which includes SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward.
In "Frankendoodle," SpongeBob and Patrick are looking over the rocks and they see DoodleBob running around with the pencil. LOOK CLOSELY: While SpongeBob and Patrick are looking over the rocks, SpongeBob has no belt. But then for a quick second, he has his belt again, but it disappears again.
At the end of "Welcome to the Chum Bucket," look at SpongeBob's eyes. They've become extremely far apart when usually they're close together. Also, his eyeballs are uneven a little bit.
If the pencil could erase part of SpongeBob's house, why didn't it erase the rock when SpongeBob erased DoodleBob on the boulder?
The episode "Welcome to the Chum Bucket" has audio commentary on the "SpongeBob SquarePants Complete 2nd Season DVD."
In "Frankendoodle," when Squidward reaches for the fake dollar, his hair and monocle fall to the ground, but when his hair flies away, the monocle has disappeared.
When Spongebob erases Doodlebob, only three fingers are left on the remaining hand. Yet, when Doodlebob's hand climbs into Spongebob's house it has four fingers.
When Spongebob was putting up the drawing of Doodlebob on his wall, we see a picture of him with his mouth closed. But when Patrick was looking at it, his mouth was open.
A bottle cap can be seen twice when Plankton is talking on the ground. When he says, "What kind of cruel person would break such a beautiful relationship?", the bottle cap is gone.
SpongeBob acts as if he doesn't know what "that thing" is in WttCB, but he did in the PC game "Employee of the Year."
In Frankendoodle, at the end of the episode when Spongebob gives the pencil back, you can see that the two pieces (the original point, and the part with the eraser) are taped together. But when SpongeDoodle had the eraser end (when they were fighting), he sharpened it. So how could he have taped it together if it has a point? And it's still the same size as it was in the beginning, but it was sharpened so it should be smaller. Also, about the taping thing, if Spongebob had cut off the top (to make it easy to glue) it would be shorter as well.
When Doddlebob's hand is creeping towards Spongebob's you see two windows, meaning two floors. But when the hand is in his house he goes past three windows, meaning three floors.
In "WTTCB", Mr. Krabs leaves the Krusty Krab to go play cards with Plankton walking to the left. But in a lot of other episodes, the Chum Bucket is right across the street from the Krusty Krab!
When the artist at sea drops his pencil, it sinks. But pencils are to light to sink, they would float!
In "I'm Your Biggest Fanatic," you also see SpongeBob's butt when he opens the trunk (his pants) to get the jars and nets.
How come SpongeBob is only as tall as half of a pencil? In the SpongeBob computer game he gets his license and if you look closely it says his height is 3 feet 2 inches. How could the pencil be 6 feet 4 inches underwater if when the "artist at sea" had it it was a normal pencil????
This isn't really a goof, but when they show Plankton reading SpongeBob a story in "Welcome To The Chum Bucket", that book is the same book SpongeBob thinks about when he says, "Story time." In "Grandma's Cookies."
When Doodlebob erases Spongebob's pants, you see he has a butt. But in "Nature Pants" and "Hooky" when Spongebob is naked, he has no butt. But also in "The Sponge That Could Fly" in the bat costume, he has a butt again.
When Plankton was reading the story, we see SpongeBob drooling he doesn't have on the Chum Bucket bucket helmet. The next shot of him he has it on.
How is the SpongeBob robot drinking if he doesn't really have a mouth?
When SpongeBob accidentally threw the pencil out the window, it hit Squidward, but if you look closely, it's the right side of SpongeBob's house. Then again, Squidward could have been walking there, he doesn't stay in his house all day doing nothing.
Whatever happened to the other end of the pencil that hit Squidward?
It was big to them because their species are small. It's not a goof. It's just size relationship!
In "Frankendoodle," when the pencil breaks in half the doodle sharpens it with his mouth and its still in half, but later it's a full pencil again.
SpongeBob: Be careful with that pencil, Doodle! Who knows what will happen!
SpongeBob: Okay, I'll draw me, and when Squidward answers the door, it won't be me!
Squidward: Tell me this isn't a joke!
SpongeBob: Go on, tell Squidward all about your cruel sick joke.
SpongeBob: What are you doing with that pencil?
DoodleBob: YOU doodle! Me SpongeBob!
SpongeBob: Where could he possibly be?
Patrick: Maybe he's in that poorly-drawn pineapple?
(a creepy-looking Krabby Patty crawls out of grill)
Plankton: Uh... SpongeBob?
SpongeBob: I'm sorry, Plankton! I'm trying my best! I'm not used to cooking this way... PLEASE DON'T TAKE MY BRAIN OUT!!!
Artist: Huh? What's this? My pencil! (starts drawing, the pencil snaps)
Narrator: Another rule for the artist at sea: always bring a pencil sharpener.
Squidward: Squidward, if you had some hair you would be the handsomest creature in the sea!
SpongeBob: Any last words?
DoodleBob: (saying nonsense) Nagiaalabagabaga!
SpongeBob: I'm sorry, what was that?
DoodleBob: (says it slowly) Nagiaalabagabaga. (then loudly) Nagiaalabagabaga!
Patrick: Good work, SpongeBob, but your drawing is lacking basic construction, and has left a lot to be desired.
SpongeBob: Pah. Everybody's a critic!
Spongebob:(To Patrick) Careful Patrick. Being an artist is a heavy responsibility. Each work of art is like a child and must be treated as such.
Spongebob: Alright doodle it looks like this....is a draw.
(Doodle sharpens his pencil point with his mouth.)
Spongebob: I've seen you made your point.....no matter, I was voted most artistic in high school! (Flings pencil out the window and hits Squidward.)
Squidward: DOW! Spongebob you're going to pay for that!
Spongebob: Maybe it was the most clumsy.
SpongeBob: (to Gary) Goodnight, sweet prince.
Gary: (in a posh voice) Me-howw.
Plankton: Don't back sass me!
SpongeBob: (mock voice) Don't back sass me!
SpongeBob: (blows raspberry)
Plankton: That's it, you've just lost your brain privileges!
SpongeBob: A grill, is a grill. This is surely soooo.
Plankton: Finished! Oh Spongebob, get in here. Or should I say RobotBob Sponge...chef...pants? I put the brain in the robot you know. You shouldn't have been a spoiled brat! You see I always get what I want and I want you to make me a Krabby Patty!
RobotBob: Be beep doodle de doo. Response. Why don't you ask me later?
Plankton: Wait! I command you make me a Krabby Patty!
RobotBob: I don't wanna.
SpongeBob: Hold still, Doodle! This is for your own good! (starts erasing) Take this and that and this that this that this that. (talks gibberish, then holds pencil over his head) AHHHHHHHHHHHH! I AM SPONGEBOB! DESTROYER OF EVIL!!!
Patrick: Take it easy, it's just a drawing.
Just a Greasy Spoon (Without You)
Spongebob: A stove is a stove. No matter where you go.
Mr. Krabs: A patty is a patty. That's what I say.
Spongebob: A grill is a grill. This is surely so.
Mr.Krabs: And fries should be fries either way.
Spongebob: But this grill is not a home! This is not the stove I know!
Mr.Krabs: I would trade it all away, if you come back to stay.
Both: This kitchen's not the same without you.
Mr.Krabs: It just a greasy spoon...
Spongebob: It's just a greasy spo-o-oon.
Both: Without you. (Spongebob cries)
SpongeBob: Hey, Magic Pencil, what are you doing up? Drawing yourself a glass of water? Hahaha. Ahh! DoodleBob!
DoodleBob: You Doodle! Me SpongeBob!
Patrick: Spongebob, your art is coming to life!
Spongebob: Well, that's more like it Mr.Critic.
Patrick: No i mean its swimming away.
Spongebob: Patrick do you know what this means?!
Patrick: Your art can never hang in a museum.
Spongebob: C'mon Patrick give me a boost up.
Patrick: Can't we just stay down here where it's safe.
Spongebob: No way, I created this monster and I've got to stop him.
(A drawn wrench drops onto Patricks head and lands in his arms)
Spongebob: See what I mean Patrick
Patrick: (dazed) Where's the leak ma'am?
Spongebob: Okay he's putting down the pencil, now's our chance. On the count of three we'll jump out and surprise him.
Patrick: O' boy a surprise party. Is it his birthday?
(Doddlebob breaks through the rock, screams, picks Spongebob up)
Spongebob: Patrick, Patrick, do something.
Patrick: Happy Birthday!!!
(Doddlebob throws Spongebob)
Patrick: (Picks up a rock) Here's your present!
(Doddlebob slams the rock on Patricks head)
Patrick: Your welcome.
Patrick: He's hideous. He makes me sick just looking at him. Those big bulgy eyes, that square body, those two buck teeth, and that stupid tie!
(Spongebob clears throat) Oh but it looks good on you Spongebob!
Plankton: What is he doing? Tears? And the showtunes? Why isn't he making the patties?! Forget it! I'm going with Plan B, I'll but his brain in the robot chef!
Karen: You know that never works. the answer is obvious. To get to the Spongebob you must show him compassion and understanding, then he'll give you what you want.
Plankton: Will you be quiet I'm thinking! I've got it! To get to the Spongebob I'll show him compassion and understanding, then he'll give me what I want.
Patrick: Poor Squidward.
Plankton: Here's the official Chum Bucket bucket hat.
Plankton: Who would break such a beautiful friendship... I would!
SpongeBob: Are you okay, Patrick?
Karen: To get to the SpongeBob, you have to show him compassion and understanding. Then he'll give you what you want!
Plankton: Will you be quiet? I'm thinking! I got it. To get to SpongeBob, I have to show him compassion and understanding. Then he'll give me what I want!
(SpongeBob is hanging the doodle on the wall when Patrick comes in)
Patrick: Hey, SpongeBob, what's with all the ruckus?
SpongeBob: (pointing at the doodle on the wall) Take a look for yourself Patrick.
Patrick: Ah! It's the evil doodle!
SpongeBob: No, no, not evil. He was 2 dimensional creature, lost in our 3 dimensional aquatic world, longing for a purpose.
Patrick: So, he's a drawing?
SpongeBob: Exactly. See how happy he is.
Patrick: (looking at SpongeBob's picture instead of the doodle) He still looks kinda creepy.

SpongeBob Robot: *Beep Beep* Respond: Why don't you ask me later?
Plankton taking SpongeBob's brain out and putting it into a robot replica is similar to The Simpsons' "Treehouse of Horror II" when Mr. Burns takes out Homer's brain, and afterwards does no work and just lays around.
The bottle cap by Plankton is the color of a Pepsi bottle cap.
The crawling Krabby Patty at the Chum Bucket looks very similar to the Monster Hand/Jack-in-the-Box kept in Sid's room on the movie, Toy Story.
DoodleBob: You Doodle, me SpongeBob.
This is a spoof of Tarzan.
When Patrick is hit by the bowling and turns into a group of bowling pins, this might be a reference to a Tom&Jerry cartoon when Jerry's tough cousin tosses a bowling ball at Tom and Tom turns into bowling pins.
Spongebob: I brought you into this world, and now I'm going to take you out.
Reference to Frankenstein as "Frankendoodle" was named after the movie Frankenstein.
