Show Summary

Spoofovision was British television series that aired on England's ITV for two seasons, premiering in 1996. It also aired on cable's Comedy Central in the year 2000. Spoofovision was a sketch show that spoofed and made fun of various popular English and American TV shows, as well as other pop culture phenomenons.The series starred London standup comics Matt Lucas and David Williams. The two met as children while attending the National Youth Theatre and went on to form a long-time comedy partnership. Thirteen episodes of Spoofovision aired in all, with nine during the first season and four during the second. The first season featured the episode names Gary British, Gaz Stop, Prime Time ITV Shows, American Sitcoms, Sex Talk, Children's TV and Boy Band Documentaries and Late Night Review Shows. During the second season, the episodes concentrated on spoofing particular shows like America's Seinfeld, My Two Dads, Alf and Small Wonder.
