  • Truly despicable episode from first-rate show leaves this viewer alienated

I just watched this episode on DVD and I am beyond appalled. This was literally my favorite show, and "betrayed" and "hurt" are two words that can only begin to describe how it made me feel. (I am Jewish, but not Israeli.) It is one thing to "show the other side" (i.e. not to be in support of Israel), but it is quite another to cross the line into anti-semitism, which I feel this storyline in fact does. I know the difference. This story was offensive, far-fetched, and outright shocking. Worse, it feeds stereotypes in today's Britain, where anti-semitism is on the rise. I wish I could say that the BBC, which is publicly funded, was just irresponsible. But they are known for leaning this way, and their behavior is atrocious.moreless
  • I happen to be Israeli, and until today I was also a big fan of the show.

This entire story was no only ridicilous, but also antisemitic and terribly misrepresenting, and it offended me personally. The way the Israelis were characterized in this episode was demonizing, and it was as unjust as it was hurtful.

From the moment Adam said it was the Israelis and until the very last second of the episode, I couldn\'t believe my eyes. Until today, I identified with the show ideologically, but tonight it didn\'t feel like I was watching a Spooks episode, but rather like I was watching anti-Israeli propoganda. After watching this, I feel a little betrayed. No wonder there\'s such a high level of anti-semitism in England, if this is how they see us.

Not to mention Yuri\'s character, which was a walking-talking stereotype.

    Very disappointing.moreless
  • unbeliavavble but as usual fantastic and exctiting to watch

i thought this was a good episode to watch but most of it was quite unbelievable. you would think that in a real life situation she would have been killed. i have been watchin the show for several seasons now but as time goes by the show has definitely improved. i am happy about the introduction of Hermoine Norries (ros) to the show as it was time to see some new acting. she mainly central in this episode based on a iraqi terrorist attack. this fast paced action drama is most watchable is because sometimes it hits a little too close to home.moreless
