The 6 PM SportsCenter and the big story featured in the episode was not just the Boston Celtics vs. New York Knicks Game 3, but whether or not Amare Stoudemire would play. They had various reports on him, they had an interview and footage of him shooting around. They were clearly trying to go for a Dr. J style storyline when talking about him.
I called Nomar Garciaparra picking Troy Tulowitzki as the MVP as soon as they mentioned he would be on the program. Not surprising that he is buying the hype, but by June he will not even be in consideration in my eyes.
