No matter what hour it is, no matter what day it is, you can almost always count on ESPN to air SportsCenter, and that will be even more true come August 30th, when ESPNews begins airing 7 additional hours of SportsCenter, replacing ESPNews content.
But the show is not always exciting. Sometimes this is a waste of time and it is better to just log onto NBA.com or MLB.com or whatever and get the scores in a few seconds than to watch the "anchors" on this show spend 60 minutes telling them to you.
SportsCenter is always on, but not always good.
