    The Boston Red Sox finally got a big win over the Texas Rangers due to some ninth inning run support. Usually their pitching has been letting other teams outscore them in the final frame to win it all, but not tonight. And I am glad I saw highlights of it on SportsCenter. There is still hope among Red Sox fans that they can beat out the Tampa Bay Rays to get into the wildcard.



    Not a lot of stories other than that though, except for the NFL preseason of course, but that is just fun TV, not really meaningful sports conversation.moreless
