Lou Piniella retired today and we got an entertaining highlight reel of the veteran manager during the broadcast. Baseball will not be the same without him so this a loss we are all going to have to learn to deal with. Hopefully he gets back in the business at some point, but he might not ever based on the way he abruptly left.
I know people have mixed feelings about SportsCenter , but the show undeniably appeals to the masses and lets you have something to watch when there is nothing else on. ESPN has created something good here, even if it can be boring from time to time.
