The entire sports world is buzzing over the announcement of Brett Favre text messaging people that he plans to retire. ESPN SportsCenter has done a good job with this story and the way they have handled it. They are coming off as the worldwide leader in sports like they claimed they are for so long with all the former players and coaches they are hearing from regarding the story. ESPN has come under fire recently for the LeBronathon and their not covering the story about him at a night club, but they have handled this well.
I still don't believe it though.
