MLB Network may not have the resources that ESPN has, but because they have one show essentially throughout the day other than their two baseball games today (although they can interrupt them with breaking news) they will beat the Disney owned network to most trades, and have already so far. ESPN just reported the Roy Oswalt deal during this edition of SportsCenter, where MLB Network had it hours ago. Another advantage for the low-rated baseball specific channel? No Buster Olney or John Clayton? Peter Gammons chose MLB Network over ESPN and at this point it is obvious why; their coverage is better.
