    • QUOTES (1)

      • (Dr. Auschlander is toasting Morrison on his marriage to Joanne)
Auschlander: Perhaps the poet Ranier Maria Rilke put it best when he said "A good marriage is one in which each appoints the other the guardian of his solitude."
Wade begins to cry and runs off as Fiscus and Axelrod watch.
Fiscus: What did Ranier Maria Rilke know?

    • NOTES (2)

      • Eric Laneuville and Cindy Pickett do not appear in this episode.

      • This is the first episode of Bruce Greenwood's Dr. Seth Griffin, who fills the quasi-loveable cad role long vacated by Peter White. This is also the return of John Doe #6, one of the show's more memorable patients.

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • Title
The title is a pun taken from the song When you Wish Upon a Star. Written by Ned Washington and Leigh Harline, it has become the official theme song of the Disney organization used not only in the credits of its TV show, but also in the studio credit in their movies. It first appeared in Pinnochio (1940) where it was sung by Cliff Edwards in the character of Jiminy Cricket.
