The music Varani played in Quark's at the beginning of the episode is a variant of the Deep Space Nine theme song.
Odo states that the station holds seven thousand people.
On the close up of Nog looking at the Most Wanted boards in Odo's office, you can see a face that looks just like that of Leonard Nimoy.
Goof: Haneek walks through an airlock and supposedly on to her ship. You can see the actress' reflection in the door, trying to get off-camera.
Nitpick: After Varani's performance, the Bajorans in the bar (including Kira, but it is quick and almost out of the picture) clap as humans do. In later episodes, they clap with their palm to the back of their hand.

Sisko: I know, constable, but it's worth it. Just look at them. They're experiencing their first taste of freedom.
Sisko: Ah, Major. Get everything settled with Quark?
Kira: Oh, that little toad is this far from doing a 360 out an airlock!
Sisko: I'm glad to hear everything went okay.
