  • Yet more background on the touchy Tellarites and Andorians.

I loved when the Captain was practicing his 'diplomatic' patter for the Tellarites.

...and Shran's confession about his relationship with Talas gave us an interesting insight into Andorian mating rituals.

And then there's the Romulans! This was a very 'busy' episode with information and mystery coming from every direction.

I hate multi-part stories and this one is unfortunately a 3 parter so I have to wait another fortnight before I now how it ties all the threads up. But Enterprise, more than any other series handles multiparters brilliantly. With the quality of the episodes so far this season I have no idea why Enterprise wasn't renewed for another season.

I've watched Star Trek from the first ep in the 60s, and I still think Enterprise is the pick of the bunch!!moreless

    • Sato: Sir, I wasn't kidding about Porthos. Archer: You think he's mangy? Sato: No. But you might want to keep him out of sight. Tellarites consider canines something of a... delicacy. Edit
    • Shran: (to Archer) Your desire for a peaceful resolution is blinding you from the truth. T'Pol: Commander, perhaps... Shran: I've heard enough from you! Vulcans are expert liars, perhaps your people are behind this. Edit
    • Archer: (about the Tellarites) A species that actually thrives on argument. They would probably make good politicians. Edit
