    1. Should there be another Trek? (To me this question is simple, YES)(However dome [people seem to think that the shows are getting worse)

    2. Has there been any info on Another Trek?

How far in the future from STNG would you go? It would have to be further than the time line of NCC-1701J, since Archer was on it briefly.

This has been talked about lots of the other Trek forums, I don't think it's likely we'll see another series for a while. The owners probably just think they can't make money off it. They'll see how Star Trek 11 fairs and then go from there I guess.

I just got done watching Star Trek: Beyond the Final Frontier (or something like that) an they seemed pretty sure there would be another series. Of course i realize thats not official, therefore means nothing. But i can hope.

I just hope the next series is not another prequel, although I have a feeling it will be.

I hope the new series isn't a prequel. I was hoping they'd do a series later than Voyager, maybe in the 31st century so they can bloody answer what happpened with the future timeline!

I wouldn't mind a prequel, as long as it's done right. There are so many gaps in the Trek timeline that it would be nice to have them filled. Sure, there are the novels, but they're not canon and some of them contradict each other.

I dunno... depends on who takes the helm of the franchise... and hopefully they will do a better job then the current team... I heard somewhere that Ron Moore who has been a long time Trek contributer before he made Carnivale and Battlestar... I think he could take the franchise into new exciting directions... also, as seen with battlestar... he has the ability to pull in new fans to the Sci-Fi genre... working on getting rid of the social stigma associated with the genre
