Isn't it ironic?

I also like Vaughn Armstrong as Admiral Forest, great supporting character. An episode that can be watched seperate from the rest that I like is "Singularity," the character reactions, especially Phlox, Trip and Reed are fun to watch.

My favorite supporting character, however, is Sharan, and can say that is almost due to personal bias, having enjoyed Jeffery Combs since I first saw him in "Re-Animator" and "From Beyond" in '85-'86. He's always good at playing devious characters, really added a lot to DS9 with his portrayals of Weyoun and Brunt. Definitely a bonus for this show and one of the few redeeming things about the finale.

Jeff Combs was the reason why I saw a Sci-Fi channel movie last yr...I think it was called "Hammerhead" or some such nonsense...anyways the movie suxed beyond reason..but the acting on his part was phenomenal...he is able to spice up any part and even if he's involed in something that blows...he still makes it work, even if every thing else suxs.

Jeff is a consistently good actor, have seen him in bad movies like "Castle Freak" and "House On Haunted Hill" as well as good ones like "The Frighteners" and he has never disappointed.

Well week 3 of my ENT tour is beginning.

"Observer Effect" wasn't great, but not bad, either. I just might make a go of this.

For some reason, they're skipping a whopping SIX episodes! According to my listings, tonight is "In a Mirror, Darkly".

Lobo recommends this episode, so I've got high hopes.

I wonder why they're skipping so many episodes, though.

Well, I watched it. It was only part 1, though, so I'm trying to remain open about it; there is a chance that some of my "questions" could be resolved in part 2.

On the whole, I'm not terribly impressed (so far). I saw a few things that made me want to slap Braga and Berman, but that's just par for the course, with me. So, discounting the things that I KNOW are the fault of these two clowns, I didn't see anything else bad about the episode.

Like I said though, I only saw the first part; I'll wait until I see part 2 (to give this a fair chance, of course) to make up my mind on whether I think the episode is good or bad.

Let's face it, we've seen a lot of episodes start great, but end horribly, and a lot that started miserably, but turned out well.

Right now, I'm still sitting on the fence.
