STOS is being like the Doctor Who OS where more & more of the cast are passing away. The new movie may be great for the new fans, and some of the older fans as well, but we are loosing our Star Trek crew. hope they do one more with the remaining STOS case.

That would be cool but as the OS it would be more difficult for them to take part iny many action scenes or did you just mean cameos.

No. The storyline could be where something happen and they need the advice of the STO crew. Remember in STNG (TV & movie) at least McCoy, Scottie, Kirk & Spock. There no reson to think the other 3 are not still living, after all they were the younger of the main crew/cast. It could even cover how McCoy & Scottie died. The you add in the books there was a story taking place during the time of STNG where Kirk got McCoy and Scottie together to save Spock.

There are a lot of great stories where an older actor can take the lead without having to do much or any of the action (The 1st Doctor of Doctor Who, L. Greene in th1st Battlestar to name two) so there age should not limit the story. Even in the cast of poor health it can be done (see "The Three Doctors" of Doctor Who)
