T'Pol reveals that she is 65 years old.
In this episode, it is revealed that the founding members of the Federation are Humans, Vulcans, Andorians and Tellerites.
Goof: In her log entry near the end T'Pol gives the year 2152 but the year is 2154
Goof: When the Reptilians scan Degra's ship as it approaches, they say there are seven human lifesigns on board. That number is incorrect - Archer, Hoshi, Reed and three MACOs are all that are aboard. The Reptilians should pick up six human lifesigns.
Goof: The German bunker belongs to its Army, but the flag on the ceiling is from the German Navy.
Trivia: On the Nazis' invasion map of the United States, the large American Flag has 56 stars on it, instead of the 48 it should have in this time period.
This episode marks the second time Daniels dies.
The images shown when the timeline is being reset are: a fish, a dinosaur, a cave painting, Stonehenge, the Pyramids, the Moai, an Egyptian wall painting, Romulus and Remus, Roman chariots, a knight of the Middle Ages, Christopher Columbus, several sailing ships, the Roundheads in the English Civil War, buffalos, Native American tepees, a canoe, the American Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln, a locomotive, a car, various airplanes, Vladimir Lenin, Adolf Hitler, Prime Minister Winston Churchill, members of the Ku Klux Klan, man's first lunar landing, people watching television, the Civil Rights movement, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, President William J. Clinton, Nelson Mandela, a meeting between President George W. Bush and Prime Minister Tony Blair, the space shuttle, the September 11th terrorist attack on New York's World Trade Center, the International Space Station, the NX-01 Enterprise in drydock, Valakis, Quarra, the Xindi probe attacking Earth and Captain Archer destroying the Xindi superweapon.
This marks the first time the planet Vulcan is seen on-screen in Enterprise.
As stated by Trip, Vulcan is 16 light-years from Earth. The only star system that exists at that distance from Earth is 40 Eridani.
Goof: When Enterprise is pursued by the Orion ships for the second time, the Orion ships are maneuvering at warp, and both sides are firing energy weapons at one another.
As has been established in Star Trek lore, ship's cannot, whilst at warp, fire energy weapons or perform maneuvers.
Trivia: After the two augments have boarded the Klingon ship and reached the bridge, there is a shot of both of them, stood side by side, pointing their weapons at the camera. This shot is reminiscent of the scene where the Klingon Chancellor is assassinated by two Starfleet crewmen, aboard Quo'nos One, in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
Trivia: To reflect her new Starfleet commission and rank, T'Pol's uniform is altered in this episode. Blue science stripes are added to the shoulders, commander's pips are added to the chest, and the Enterprise mission patch is added to the arm.
Mission Date: May 17, 2154
Trivia: Trip mentions that the augments had previously had slaves, and Soong replies that they were actually subjects. This is a reference to Khan Noonien Singh and others like him, who were originally introduced in The Original Series episode "Space Seed". In that episode, it is established that a sub-race of genetically engineered "superhumans" had ruled over large portions of Earth as ruthless dictators.
Trivia: The new captain's chair installed on the bridge is previously used in an alternate ending to Star Trek: Nemesis.
First Appearance: Orion Syndicate and Orion Slave Girls
Trivia: T'Pol receives a Starfleet commission with the rank of Commander, and thus becomes the first non-human officer in Earth Starfleet.
Goof: After Malik attacks Archer, the MACO lifts his gun with his left hand. However, in the following shots, he is holding the gun in his right hand.
Goof: The Enterprise goes to warp just as soon as it clears spacedock, but this is too close to a planet to go into warp.
