Zobral's accent comes and goes and is even thicker in certain scenes, particularly when he invites Archer and Tucker to dinner.
Trivia: At this point, days of the week are still being used to measure time. While suffering from heatstroke, Trip refers to both "Wednesday" and "Saturday".
Mission Date: 12 February 2152
Mission Date: 09 February 2152
Goof: As stated in the text commentary for this episode, in the opening scene, when Trip opens the airlock doors to let the Kreetassans off the ship, he uses the com panel to open them, instead of the airlock control panel.
Trivia: Tucker's sardonic remark that Ezral create a holographic doctor is an in-joke to The Doctor from Star Trek: Voyager.
Nitpick: The armed holographic crewmen walk through walls to ambush Archer and Reed... but when they disappear, their (presumably real) energy weapons drop to the ground. Since the weapons are real, the holograms could not have brought them through the walls (unless the holograms for the guns were not turned off when the crew holograms were).
Goof: In the decon-room, when Trip disables the system by shorting it out, the doors fall slightly open. After he goes through, they automatically close behind him. When causing a power shortage however, it would be impossible for the doors to close on their own using that same system.
Trivia: As of this episode, there are only 172 Rules of Acquisition. By 2375 there will be 285.
Goof: When Archer is talking to the woman (time index 22:35), he pulls a device out of his chest pocket and starts scanning the area. He even says so to Trip and T'Pol when they find him. Problem is, he is holding his communicator, not his Tricorder.
Nitpick: When Hoshi returns to the ship, Archer says in the log report that Trip and Malcolm are taking her back to Enterprise. However, Trip wasn't on the planet; the landing party consisted of Archer, T'Pol, Hoshi and Malcolm.
Nitpick: When Malcolm begins to shave his face, Trip tells him that there is no point in doing it because hair continues to grow after death. This is in fact an urban myth. Hair, like fingernails, does not continue to grow after death; it is just the flesh shrinking to reveal more of what's underneath.
Nitpick: Malcolm's choice of emergency ration is sea bass. It is stated in "Silent Enemy" that Malcolm probably dislikes fish.
Trivia: This is the first of two episodes in which no scene take place on the bridge. The other is "Carpenter Street".
Nitpick: After Trip tells Malcolm to get some sleep, Malcolm replies that he doesn't want to waste oxygen sleeping; however, humans consume less oxygen when sleeping, not more.
Mission Date: 09 November 2151
Nitpick: Trip drinks his drink and puts down the empty cup. He then gets up and lights a candle; however, his glass has moved positions and is full again.
Trivia: Phlox says T'Pol has been serving on the Enterprise for over six months, which indicates that this episode takes place between 16 October (precisely six months from the start of the series) and 06 November 2151 (the date of the next episode).
