Nitpick: In T'Pol's "acting Captains log", she states that they have resumed a course to Azati Prime, and the exterior view of the ship shows Enterprise at warp. However, in the next scene, Archer tells Trip to have Travis set a course for Azati Prime at maximum warp, and Trip makes no reference to the fact that they were already under way.
Nitpick: During the battle with the Xindi ships, Commander Tucker states "the starboard nacelle has been hit, we're dead in the water". However, in the following battle scene, Enterprise is moving and dodging enemy weapon's fire, more than could be accounted for by thrusters only.
Although they are unheard of through the 23rd and 24th centuries, according to Daniels, by the 26th century, there are Xindi serving on Federation starships.

Goof: As Hoshi and Travis work on translating the Xindi-Aquatic language, Hoshi's rank insignia is missing from her uniform. However, in her next scene, her rank pip is back on her uniform.
Nitpick: After Enterprise rendezvous with Degra's ship, Trip says that he hasn't slept since the attack, and T'Pol replies that that was two days earlier. However, in the previous episode, "Damage", Degra's message, which was only found following the attack, instructed them to meet him in three days.
Nitpick: Despite his plans to intercept and destroy the original probe that attacked Earth, it's curious that Lorian didn't contact Starfleet to warn them about the attack.
Trivia: The Vulcan axiom quoted by T'Pol ("The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few") will be quoted again by Spock at the end of Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan.
Trivia: In this episode, many of the oft-seen Xindi Council members' names are revealed. The Arboreal (Rick Worthy) is Jannar, the Reptilian (Scott MacDonald) is Commander Dolim, and the main Aquatic is named Kiaphet Amman'sor.

Nitpick: Commander Dolim says that they abducted Hoshi because they were so impressed with her language skills. Although he is correct that her skills are impressive, when appearing before the council in the previous episode, Hoshi simply used the universal translator to understand the Insectoids and Aquatics.
Nitpick: Major Hayes and the other MACOs had decent cover as they waited to be beamed out. However, when the others have all been beamed to Enterprise, Hayes inexplicably leaves his position of cover, and it results in his death.
Final Appearance: Sphere Builders, The Xindi
