Reed sets a phase pistol to overload and explode, causing Trip to comment "I didn't know one little phase pistol could cause so much damage." Setting phasers to overload in a pinch was a common plot device in The Original Series.
Trivia: The Romulan uniforms were reused from Star Trek: Nemesis. Presumably this was a cost cutting measure.
First Appearance: Rigelian scoutship
Trivia: Archer explains that all of the vessels pictured in his ready-room were named Enterprise.
Nitpick: It seems unlikely that upon abandoning his ship, one of the few things that Shran would salvage would be the blades and metal cuffs necessary for the Ushann. Furthermore, even if he did salvage these items, it is not explained how he retrieved his Ushann-Tor after being disarmed by security.
Shran: I'll take your blood to Andoria... to the Wall of Heroes.
Archer: Not today.
Talas: That Tellarite pig.
Shran: Is there any other kind?
Shran: You're not especially difficult to work with. Unlike Tellarites, you understand ethics and you try to live by them.
Shran: Well, nobody's perfect.
(Remarking about the damage done to the drone)
Trip: You did all this with one phase pistol?!
Malcolm: You're good at building things; I'm good at blowing them up.
