  • TRIVIA (3)

    • In "Haven" it was stated that Deanna got her exotic accent from her father, but here we see her father and he has no such accent.

    • Although it's clearly established that with stardates 1000 indicates the passage of one year, it is stated here that Lwaxana started her journals and got married in 30620.1. That would be 17 years ago from the time of this episode (47254.1), and it's stated that Deanna was born seven years into the marriage (37620, presumably). So...Deanna is 10 years old?

    • Lwaxana and Deanna get in an elevator and Deanna tells it to go to Deck 8. But when they arrive the sign says 12 Turbolift (i.e., Deck 12).

  • QUOTES (1)

    • Worf: I do not care for telepaths. They make me... uneasy.
Lwaxana: Don't worry--the Cairn couldn't read your thoughts even if they wanted to. Your brain isn't sophisticated enough. (Riker smiles) Neither is yours, dear. They can only communicate with other telepaths.

  • NOTES (1)

    • This marked Lwaxana Troi's final appearance on Star Trek: The Next Generation. The character would go on to appear in several Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episodes.
