  • Trivia

    • Trivia: In the scene on the bridge when Worf is first explaining to Data the multiple reality anamoly, Data has blue eyes. In every other scene, Data has his normal yellow eyes.

    • At the beginning of this episode, Deanna takes down a round shield from Worf's wall to put up the painting that Data made. He doesn't think that it's strange that the shield is up there, so it should be hanging up on the wall in his reality. However, in the last scene, the shield is not hanging there.

    • Data says that a broad spectrum warp field will seal the fissure, but later tells Worf to use an inverse warp field.

    • The picture that Geordi identifies of Starbase 47 is actually of a subspace relay station (probably from "Aquiel").

  • Quotes

    • (after the Enterprises keep appearing in space)
Data: The rate of quantum incursions is increasing exponentially. At this rate, the sector will be completely filled with Enterprises within three days.
Lieutenant Crusher: Captain, we are receiving 285,000 hails.
Captain Riker: I wish I knew what to tell them.

    • Riker: This is Captain Riker of the Enterprise. (Riker pauses), That is, the Enterprise that is indigenous to this universe.

    • Troi: So that would make me your...
Worf: The closest analogy is, step-sister.
Troi: That would make my mother your step-mother.
Worf: I had not considered that; it is a risk I am willing to take.

    • Riker: Mr. Worf, I hate surprise parties
      (Worf goes into his room)
      Everyone: Surprise!
Riker: Mr Worf, I love surprise parties.

    • Alternate Riker: We won't go back! You don't know what it's like in our universe. The Federation's gone. The Borg is everywhere!

    • Troi: (to Worf) I know Klingons like to be alone on their birthdays. You probably want to meditate or hit yourself with a pain stick or something.
