  • Trivia

    • During the phaser fight in Ten Forward, Troi is hit but somehow doesn't faint. Even though she might be possessed by an alien entity, why would her nervous system react differently to a phaser stun?

    • Trivia: This is the first time that pattern enhancers are used.

    • When Riker orders the shuttle crew to prepare for crash landing, Troi leans back. This would be appropriate if she were expecting a rear impact collision. She should have leaned forward and placed her head between her knees.

    • The crash scene shows all three crew members fitting comfortably in the shuttlepod, however after the crash the shuttlepod looks considerably smaller. They were not consistent in building the shuttle to scale.

    • It seems the hijackers do not learn from their mistakes. After the attempt to overpower them fails because one steps 'out of the circle', there are several moments when they are together, e.g. at the bar conferring (weapons down, no hostages even near). By the same token, the crew seems to give up too easily on a failed attempt. Why wouldn't Ro and Geordi keep an eye out and try again?

    • In the episode "Brothers" it was stated that only the Captain has the authority to localize command functions. Yet in this episode, Riker localizes command functions to engineering.

  • Quotes

    • Data: Lieutenant, I must apologize for my offensive behavior.
      Worf: No apology is necessary.
Data: The amount of self-restraint you showed was most astonishing.
      Worf: You have no idea.
