  • Do you hear the cry of the warrior, calling you to battle?

This Worf episode, a sequel to "Sins of the Father" and "Reunion", features a boatload of amazing guest stars and ends the fourth season on a strong note. (To make room for Guinan and all the Klingons and Romulans that do appear, regulars such as Geordi, Troi, and Dr. Crusher are left on the sidelines. However, this serves the episode well, as the audience feels even more alone in the foreign culture as a result, which is appropriate for the story.) Michael Dorn has a field day with Worf, sinking his teeth into this character that doesn't fit in with either the Federation or the Klingon Empire. But once again, it's Patrick Stewart who quietly steals the show, as Picard must butt heads with virtual every principal character in the episode, the one hundredth hour of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Everything comes to a close with one of Trek's better cliffhangers.
