    • In 1893, Samuel Clemens was traveling on book tours, mostly in Europe. He only returned to the U.S. briefly (New York City) and moved his family to Berlin, Germany. It is unlikely that he was in the San Francisco area at all.

    • Marc Alaimo previously played Badar'N'D'D in "Lonely Among Us," Commander Tebok in "The Neutral Zone," and Gul Macet in "The Wounded." He would later play Gul Dukat on Deep Space Nine and Officer Burt Ryan in DS9's "Far Beyond the Stars."
