This line was paraphrased during both Star Trek: First Contact by Jean-Luc Picard and during the series finale of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine by Kassidy Yates.

The Doctor in Seven's body refers to the alien captain as "Lothario". Lothario is a character in the play Fair Penitant, written by Nicholas Rowe in 1703. The term is often used to describe a handsome, seductive man.
