Star Trek: Voyager

Season 6 Episode 10

Aired Wednesday 8:00 PM Dec 01, 1999 on UPN

  • Trivia

    • Trivia: In Barclay's simulation, Janeway dons the same hairstyle she had in season one. Since they wouldn't have any way to know if or how she changed her hair over the years, this is an appropriate depiction.

    • Nitpick: The MIDAS Array is based on the strong speculation that Voyager might be at probable coordinates based on The Doctor's visit two years before and the ship's path at that time. However, since The Doctor's visit, the ship has made several unanticipated jumps, including a 20,000 lightyear boost from a transwarp coil in the season 5 episode "Dark Frontier" (a distance that would have taken 15 to 20 years at normal warp speeds), so the wormhole would have been directed at entirely the wrong region of space.

    • Goof: In the scene where Barclay talks to Admiral Paris in the Admiral's office, a long shot shows a reversed picture of Tom Paris with a combadge on the right side of his chest. A few seconds later, a close-up shows the same picture in its correct orientation (combadge on the left side of his chest).

    • Trivia: Only knowing that they had assumed certain roles within the Voyager crew, and nothing more, Barclay had the Maquis crew members dressed in Maquis-style clothing instead of Starfleet uniforms.

  • Quotes

    • Barclay: You know what I am always saying: If you can't stand the heat...
Kim Hologram: Get out of the warp core!

    • Barclay: Has it ever occurred to you... that a tachyon beam directed at a Class-B itinerant pulsar could produce enough gravimetric energy to create an artificial singularity?
Troi: I can't say it has.

    • Barclay: Admiral... ehm... thank you for seeing me
Admiral: You're frightening my secretary Mr. Barclay. You have five minutes.
