The Haunting Of Deck Twelve was a superb and very entertaining episode of Star Trek: Voyager and I really enjoyed watching this episode as it's almost Halloween and this had a good Voyager themed haunting story. The Borg Children were regenerating when Voyager ran into trouble and their cycle was interrupted. They passed the time with Neelix, which was cool, who told them the tale. It was a fun episode and I look forward to watching what happens next!!!!!!!

Nothing like a ghost story…

Voyager is shutting down power to enter a nebula. This will awake the Borg children from regeneration and Neelix is charged with watching over them during the blackout.

He tells them a story of an earlier pass Voyager made through a nebula where an alien entity was picked up that soon began threatening the ship, its systems, and crew. The implication is that entity is still on board Voyager and they are trying to release it into the new nebula without picking up more entities. That particular question is never answered.

However, one thing is sure. This is a boring episode. It's difficult to pin down any stakes since they're all in the past and Voyager has clearly survived. So where's the "real suspense?"moreless

The Voyager crew is shutting down power to all their stations. The Doctor is going offline as well. Janeway asks Neelix to keep the Borg children company. Their regeneration alcoves are also going offline. So they will be wide awake.moreless

The Voyager crew is shutting down power to all their stations. The Doctor is going offline as well. Janeway asks Neelix to keep the Borg children company. Their regeneration alcoves are also going offline. So they will be wide awake. They gather around Neelix and the plasma lantern. Neelix tells the story of the ghost on deck 12. He says it began when Voyager passed through a nebula. Voyager picked up a lifeform as it was leaving the nebula. This lifeform is a electromagnetic being. It became angry that it was taken out of its environment. Now it wants revenge. I rate this episode a 9.3moreless
